Lately I got into Aurelius Meditations and it is amazing to understand the thought processing that certain evolved minds had such a long time ago. I have always dreamed of having wishes from the Djinn (yeah from the bottle)… I would wish for having ability to have 1on1 conversations with the great minds of our history.

Still remember when in my teens I have had the chance to personally meet and talk to . It is one of the most significant and potent interactions I have had in my lifetime…the energy, presence and his mind flow.

May, my favourite month. Places are reopening! People are coming back together. Besides all the work I am currently having building the cultural center, opening 2 new residences, with , I am really looking forward to the events in our cultural association . Street artist will have a Lisbon HUB very soon! 🎹🎶🎷

Good times with my brother and the journey to the moon and back with the party! was so viiiibrant! This event was one of the stops on the Tropical Tour we did with ! Saudadeees

Deep down I know things will get better and this is all a test of persistance and ingenuity! I know many of you are going through challenging moments and this path right here might be rugged and steep, but down your life lane it will be just one of many conquers you needed to fight through to evolve into the living being you are ment to become.

Lately I have been integrating new habits and I must say that it has a wonderful impact on me. I have been up quite early and having no distractions made me much more calm and centered. I am developing a healthy morning routine. If you feel like having a good read and maybe trying it out if it suits you, check out Atomic Habits by James Clear or Hal Elrod's Miracle Morning.

Well, well .. adapting to the change can be challenging, but we are developing something new this time! I am not gonna tell you all the secrets right away, would be too easy... but in the following months this chef' is trying out a new recepie!😃

This post celebrates a wonderful gift.. first time in my life I got flowers!! Thank you Cy!
The fact is that at first I did not know how to react as the guys get flowers only at the funeral and I was usually the one giving, but I found it charming!!!
A great thing to get if you are a man in 2021!
2.5 months out of social media, detoxing, working on engeneering projects for the cultural center and healing my head. Now I was about ready to go out there to face the world and we are back into full lockdown. Heh, funny how life gets!

What a crazy month on a personal and professional level! Still doing checkups, not moving too much, but I am really looking forward to the days I can be fully operational, throw a party or go surf! So many life lessons in a short spawn of time! Lately I have been studying a lot the paradox of choice and how does this affect us on daily basis. If you have time grab the book by the same name from Barry Schwartz, it might help you get through some tought decissions. I can be quite perfectionist for certain things and what I have learned is that I do not need to always strive for excellence, especially when it comes down to secondary interests; in other words - it is alright to accept that sometimes good enough is simply GOOD ENOUGH = way less stressful and still does the job.

Looking forward to the month of May 2020. In two weeks I am turning 30. Damn. Last 10 years; what a crazy ride... This decade shaped me in ways I could have never imagined. This decade made me face death (broken neck/surf, getting bottled trying to save a stabbed friend, being in a gearshop next to a gas bottle that got caught on fire and the owner freezing and not willing to exit his store); this decade put me in tough financial situations (having 20€ to survive, eating pasta and tomato sauce, every day, for over a month; lately Coronita,little b*tch), this decade brought me really intense personal journeys of transformation (being on the wheelchair, managing to start from 0 and work tirelessly to pay all my double degree, doing the ego melting Changa experience); this decade made me love the closest people of my life to extent I haven't thought possible (the bonding experiences I have made with my parents, the amazing travel adventures I have had with my partners, I am so thankful for the personal growth that was incentivised by people that were most intimate to me, discoveries I have had with my closest friends and coworkers); this decade gave me the opportunity to experience Erasmus, to study in different countries, meet crazy characters and be part of the festivals that have blown my mind away; this decade gave me the best wave caught of my life, this decade showed me incredible coincidences (finding giant Buddha statue, after 3 weeks thinking about it with the technique of law of the attraction); this decade gave me the opportunity to see the world (be the bestman at my friends wedding in India, be part of the Carnival in Brasil, surfing and exploring tropical islands) this decade gave me a chance to DJ for people and share the energy of music; this decade gave me lessons of life, solitude, realtionship, care, hope, motivation and persistance.
I am blessed and grateful that my life story is so diverse, enchanted and mesmerizing.

I want to thank everyone who has crossed my path in the last decade, that helped me become the person I am today. I am really happy with the Garden of my Mind I have shaped, it is beeeautiful.

Luckily I have lived up Brazil to the fullest before the pandemic started; loads of good memories, heartful people and amazing places!

Life is about constant change. Trying to evolve along the way and in the right direction is easier said then done. Funny, when I was leaving for Brasil, the year looked so promising and for the part of me being on the tour it was mesmerizing! But then... it is crazy that one event can switch the course of your decisions so drastically and it can change the way you live; therefore it affects the life of others too - knowing you are responsible for others makes you mature much faster. As a founder I have started the story of my projects with the accident while surfing, resulting in a broken neck. Because of the insurance company (they didn't cover all the expenses, justifying I was not in life and death situation anymore) I was left broke. It took me 7 years to build up a stable project, though it was not immune to "Coronita". I am praying to divine gods that this will be a constructive lesson and that the new reality that is coming will be kind to us.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Anyone that I have been working with in the past few years know how much effort and commitment I have put into recreation of old abandoned spaces and turning them into sanctuaries & safe spots, where everyone can feel welcome and relaxed. In the past week I have made a decision that for the time of cry-sis counting up to a year - I will be opening guesthouses for long-term rental.

I strongly believe that this is a great opportunity to live in a lovely place for a very good price. My guesthouses are open for the people living in Lisbon and for the people who would like to come here and stay with us for a longer period of time.
