This lovely couple came all the way from France to celebrate their babymoon and it was so easy to capture their moments on camera.

Beach shoots are always tricky as you never know how the weather is going to be, especially at Praia da Adraga. It’s become a very popular place because it’s so beautiful.

The other day J&S showed us this location the we usually walk along the coast but never noticed the red rock formations nearby. It reminded me of Mars or the Grand Canyon.

Can you believe we’ve been doing this for 13 years? We started doing portraits outdoors when it wasn’t even popular yet.

Actually, Miguel had the idea of starting to take photos for our friends in the tiny expat community around us for Christmas cards. Believe me, it wasn’t a thing here in Portugal.

Now it’s a thing!

We’ve transitioned a little bit more in our business specializing mostly in family portraits & maternity shoots.

Outdoors is our thing.
Color is our thing.

Meeting new families and hearing their stories is our thing.

When you have 5 kids, it’s actually impressive how well family photos sessions go. So never be afraid that your children will misbehave.

But this family shoot was such a pleasure.

After so many years of shooting for large & small families, we’ve observed so many dynamics.

And unfortunately a lot of parents are afraid to do shoots because they’re not sure how their children will react. This is a legit fear. Our kids have different personalities.

Prepping your family for a shoot might involve some bribes 😳 but sometimes it’s necessary 😂

Make it a special event, plan the shoot with your photographer and share about your family and how they function to make it an enjoyable experience.

We’ve been shooting for this precious family since both girls were born and every time it’s always a blast. The girls built their own fort & it turned out for beautiful pics.

This time we got to shoot a fantastic sunset and beautiful light. We love vibrant colors & beautiful light.

October was a beautiful month but it feels like after the second week the rain comes and the temperature drops 10 degrees.

This past summer was so lovely but busy! We enjoyed photographing many families from all over the world.

Seriously - from Lithuania all the way from the Philippines. We are so lucky to have met every family that we come in contact with.

There’s lots of amazing places to visit outside of Lisbon that aren’t competing for your attention and the area of Mafra/Ericeira is one of them.

When you’re planning a pregnancy shoot, the simpler the better.

Choose a favorite location and outfits that mix and match patterns with solids.

Preferably we suggest doing photos at sunset 🌅 during the summer months because the light is usually a lot softer.

Each session for us is always so unexpected but we love 💕 the final results for this client.
