No âmbito da colaboração com A BASE Escola de Arte, o júri constituído pelo O Gabinete de Madame Thao, composto por Zoe Gray (Diretora de Exposições da Bozar, Bruxelas, Bélgica), Lee DaeHyung (Fundador da Hzone, Seul, Coreia do Sul), Eliette Rosich (Representante do Sovereign Art Prize em Portugal, Lisboa), David Willis (Curador Independente, Lisboa) e Sandrine Llouquet (Artista e Fundadora d'O Gabinete de Madame Thao, Lisboa) selecionou dois artistas do Programa de Residências d'A BASE.

A segunda finalista, Filipa Cabral Pestana, apresentará uma exposição individual em fevereiro de 2025 no Gabinete de Madame Thao.

As part of our collaboration with A BASE Escola de Arte, the jury set up by O Gabinete de Madame Thao, comprising Zoe Gray (Exhibition Director at Bozar, Brussels, Belgium), Lee DaeHyung (Founder of Hzone, Seoul, South Korea), Eliette Rosich (Representative of the Sovereign Art Prize in Portugal, Lisbon), David Willis (Independent Curator, Lisbon) and Sandrine Llouquet (Artist and Founder of O Gabinete de Madame Thao, Lisbon) have selected two artists from A BASE Residency Program.

The second finalist, Filipa Cabral Pestana, will be presenting a solo exhibition in February 2025 at O Gabinete de Madame Thao.

Temos o prazer de anunciar a nossa colaboração com A Base Escola de Arte em Lisboa. O OGMT irá oferecer a oportunidade de uma exposição individual a dois artistas selecionados do programa de residências da A Base.
O nosso comité de seleção, composto por ilustres representantes do mundo da arte, revelará os nomes dos artistas nomeados no dia 30 de outubro.

We are pleased to announce our collaboration with A Base Escola de Arte in Lisbon. OGMT will extend the opportunity for a solo exhibition to two selected artists from the A Base residency program.
Our selection committee comprising distinguished representatives from the art world will reveal the names of the nominated artists on October 30th.

About Broken Bird
Broken Bird is a composer and multi-instrumentalist with five albums released. Primarily a guitarist and singer, he has always believed that music can bring a greater sense of awareness. The instruments involved in his “Animent” project, tagelharpas and tires, are made individually by friends. This gives each one a unique, personal sound that adds to the richness of the music.
