The band Anarchicks was founded in 2011, and is made up of Adam d'Armada Moreira (Guitar), Mariana Rosa
(Guitar), Catarina Henriques (drums), Helena Andrade (bass) and Rita
Silks (voice). Proclaiming to ‘play music in all directions without giving any satisfaction to anyone - the four voices speak of
dissidents to sow discord and disturb the ears of the crowd, promising not to leave anyone indifferent’.

Frog of Earth is a music project from Lisbon-based Irish multidisciplinary artist Mel Keane. The project draws from a variety of digital, analogue and acoustic tools. Since its formation in 2020, it has been covered in Wire Magazine, Resident Advisor, The Quietus, and Bandcamp Daily among others and has been performed across Portugal, Ireland and the UK. The project is currently drawing from polyphonic singing and plucked strings.

Zarya Austin Fell and Frog of Earth's collaboration started in early 2022. The project deconstructs and processes Austin-Fell's electro-acoustic recordings to create new, rhythmic compositions. These compositions are presented alongside live instrumentation from both Austin-Fell and FOE.

Kate Smith is a vocal artist, composer and facilitator who is passionate about creating music — and facilitating collective music-making — for voices and bodies in motion. A master improviser and vocal technician, she uses her voice as a dexterous instrument that traverses all the way from melody to sonic textures while tapping into movement and space to inspire sound from an embodied perspective, often creating performances that toe the line between music, dance, and theatre. From her series, Songs from the Body, she will be sharing new music composed for several voices and electronics distributed and shifting throughout the space, creating a spatial-sonic environment where voice pulsates, jumps, transfers, and merges in unusual confluences.

Kate Smith é uma artista vocal, compositora e facilitadora apaixonada por criar música – e facilitar a criação coletiva de música – para vozes e corpos em movimento. Mestre em improvisação e técnica vocal, ela usa sua voz como um instrumento hábil que percorre todo o caminho da melodia às texturas sonoras enquanto explora o movimento e o espaço para inspirar o som de uma perspectiva incorporada, muitas vezes criando performances que seguem a linha entre música, dança , e teatro. A partir de sua série, Songs from the Body, ela estará compartilhando novas músicas compostas para várias vozes e eletrônicas distribuídas e deslocadas pelo espaço, criando um ambiente espacial-sônico onde a voz pulsa, salta, transfere e se funde em confluências inusitadas.

Half of the label, DJ team and promoter Invisible Sounds, formed in London and now based in Lisbon. Liza has DJd around Europe for the last ten years including several times at Salon des Amateurs, a relationship which has been strengthened by bringing Tolouse Lowtrax and Lena Willikens to Lisbon. Check out the psychedelic release 'Misekake' from Jaguar No Me on the Invisible Sounds label and catch their enigmatic Train to the Invisible City show on Threads Radio which showcases local talent and DJs from further afield in their extensive address book.

Gadutra is a nonbinary transmedia multimaker from Brasil. Envolved in artistic direction and production in some different projects, their research tries to explore the concepts of intuition, silence and technomagic, presented by tattoos, music, pictures, paintings, video and performances.

ASTREA, founder of Mãe Solteira Records, is a DJ and Producer. They seek to refute any rule that binds her to a genre both in music and life. They fluidly navigate through a selection that ranges from hip-hop to funk and reggaeton, from bass music to jungle, from techno to hardcore, creating a universe that despite being eclectic is also cohesive.
They believe that the revolution is a party, and a heavy one.

Astrea, pessoa fundadora da Mãe Solteira Records, é DJ e produtorx. Na música e na vida, procura refutar qualquer regra que x aprisione a um género. Navega com fluidez por uma seleção que vai desde hip-hop ao funk e ao reggaeton, do bass music ao jungle, até chegar ao techno e ao hardcore, criando um universo que, apesar de eclético, é coeso. Acredita que a revolução é uma festa, e das pesadas!

Originally from Serbia but based in Cologne since 2013, Marijana Croon has become a vibrant member of her local scene. Apart from hosting her radio show ‘Deflections’ on Retreat Radio in Sweden, she can also be found DJing in places such as Salon des Amateurs, Dusseldorf and Acephal, Cologne. Her sets fuse otherwordly sound designs with echoing percussion pieces and slow, dark, club music for the twilight hours.

Originária da Sérvia, mas sediada em Colônia desde 2013, Marijana se tornou um membro vibrante de sua cena local. Além de apresentar seu programa de rádio 'Deflections' na Retreat Radio na Suécia, ela também pode ser encontrada como DJ em lugares como Salon des Amateurs, Dusseldorf e Acephal, Colônia. Sonic Voyaging is a project that arises from researching the connection between music and dance, shaped as an improvised dialogue between both. The result is a live research sharing of the connections between these two forms of expression through a performative lens.
The project seeks to escape the usual creative process and presentation format of these artistic areas. This is not by chance, but by choice, as we are precisely interested in exploring the possibility of presenting something that has an immediate and spontaneous nature, in which we allow certain aspects of creation to be beyond our control. We use a method that is felt and not formatted, essentially consisting of a brief creative process that requires a concentration focused on the ephemerality of sharing.

Sonic Voyaging é um projeto que surge da procura da ligação entre várias artes sob a forma de um diálogo contínuo improvisado entre todas. O resultado é a partilha de uma pesquisa, ao vivo, das conexões entre estas formas de expressão através de uma lente performativa.
O projeto procura fugir ao formato habitual de processo criativo e de apresentação destas áreas artísticas, não por acaso, mas por opção própria, pois interessa-nos precisamente explorar a possibilidade de apresentar algo que tem uma natureza imediata e espontânea, em que permitimos que certos aspetos da criação estejam fora do nosso controle. Utilizamos um método que é sentido e não formatado, consistindo essencialmente num processo criativo breve que exige uma concentração que é focada na efemeridade da partilha.

A project born from the first lockdown of 2020, when Afonso Simões (drums and percussion) and Borja Caro (Max-Msp, synthesizers and effects) decided to meet in the studio. Resulting in an affinity of musical tastes ranging from kraut-rock, electronics from the 1980s onwards, new age, tribal music and techno. The group is an Iberian alliance where these affinities coexist with other languages more affected by each: a certain tropicalism in the case of Afonso, through Gala Drop band, and a more “dark” aspect on the part of Borja (who leads Metametal project) and the city where he grew up – Madrid -, an expression of industrial music. They have colaborated with specific musicians such as Violeta Azevedo, Joana da Conceição or GAM. Soroastra will be joined by Violeta Azevedo for the performance at Isodea.


Soroastra nasceu do confinamento pandémico de 2020, quando Afonso Simões (bateria e percussão) e Borja Caro (Max-Msp, sintetizadores e efeitos) decidiram encontrar-se no estúdio, fruto de afinidade em gostos musicais, nomeadamente kraut-rock e electrónica dos anos 80 em diante, new age, música tribal e techno. O grupo é uma aliança ibérica onde coexistem essas afinidades com outros idiomas mais afectos a cada um: um certo tropicalismo no caso de Afonso, através dos Gala Drop, e uma vertente mais “escura” da parte de Borja (que lidera os Metametal) e da cidade onde cresceu – Madrid -, expressão da música industrial. Têm trabalhado com músicos específicos em colaboração como Violeta Azevedo, Joana da Conceição ou GAM. Soroastra será acompanhada por Violeta Azevedo para a apresentação no Isodea.
