Now you've seen them all! ✨

I've spent a total of 2.5 months in the US, organizing a temporary studio, painting commissions, and creating a small collection of paintings. All of this was accompanied by a bit of traveling and visiting dream places and museums.

I'll still be sharing more stories from the process, reminding you about available artworks, and posting additional inspirations and memories from that amazing time.

But now, I want to slowly get back to some unpublished paintings from the past quarter, especially since I am constantly creating new things, so the list is long! 🧡

I also feel like it's a good time to say THANK YOU to everyone who visits my tiny account and leaves a mark of support. Yes, likes, shares, and follows mean a lot 🙏

I’ve started painting ‘at your own pace’ in September 2023, but for some reason I couldn’t finish it. It didn’t feel done. When I came back to US in April, I spent a week in Maui, Hawaii. I’ve never seen a place this green, this beautiful. So after I came back to studio, I added final layers and finally felt the painting is complete ✨

I noticed I come back to this pallet often. Knowing the colors and how they work together gives me more space to experiment and make bolder moves. I can /dis/connect and play more freely with paint and, in this case, natural pigment.

Hi! Let me properly introduce myself to you! I think you should know who's behind those paintings 😉

My name is Ania, I am a Polish artist who decided a few years ago to move to Portugal. I currently live and create in a little town called Nazaré.

I have a background in Industrial Design and did a Master’s at the University of Arts in Poznan, where I found a fascination for abstract art.

Throughout my journey, I realized that my purpose is to create. I love the freedom painting gives me. How I am present in the moment when I paint, and how my intuition leads the way. I can fully express myself without words, by creating this visual diary.

I do it by pouring paint over canvas and spreading it with my bare hands, brushes, or found objects. I continue experimenting with different techniques and painting media to achieve depth and texture.

And I want to share all of this with you. I want my art to reach anyone it resonates with, that takes a moment, looks at it, and feels something. Because in that moment, it’s not just my stories anymore. It’s your stories, your emotions. And it may provoke new questions or help you find some answers. I hope that my art pulls the right strings and gives you a chance to pause time for a while.

I think framing "Traces" was a very good move as it highlights those subtle earthy tones and completes the painting.
