On March 1st opens the exhibition ‘Evas Paralelas’ by Bárbara Fonte, at Kubikulo Project, at 5PM.

—

BÁRBARA FONTE (Braga, 1981), Licenciada em Artes Plásticas – Pintura (2004) e pós-graduada em Teoria e Prática do Desenho (2005) pela FBAUP. Foi docente de Desenho e de Artes Visuais no ensino secundário e no ensino superior. Participou com textos e ilustrações em publicações de revistas e de livros. Realizou residências artísticas nos seguintes espaços: Performing the Archive, Centro de Arte José de Guimarães, Galeria Rajon, Córtex Frontal, e outros. Entre algumas das exposições individuais e coletivas, estão: A casa arde e os esqueletos cortejam, Sismógrafo, Porto, 2023; Unha branca diabólica, Extéril, Porto, 2023; Pústula, Galeria A. Molder, Lisboa, 2021; M (de manifesto), Galeria da Universidade do Minho, Braga, 2018; Pós-laboratórios de Verão, CIAJG, Guimarães, 2023; La vie invisible - 12 arMstes, et São Trindade, Centre Photographique d’Île- de-France (CPIF), 2022, entre outros.

Sua intervenção “Evas Paralelas”, será inaugurada no dia 01 de Março, às 17h no KUBIKULO.

BÁRBARA FONTE (Braga, 1981), Graduated in Fine Arts – Painting (2004) and postgraduate in Drawing Theory and Practice (2005) from FBAUP. She taught Drawing and Visual Arts in secondary and higher education. She participated with texts and illustrations in magazine and book publications. She held artistic residencies in the following spaces: Performing the Archive, Centro de Arte José de Guimarães, Galeria Rajon, Córtex Frontal, and others. Some of the individual and group exhibitions include: A casa arde e os esqueletos cortejam, Sismógrafo, Porto, 2023; Unha branca diabólica, Extéril, Porto, 2023; Pústula, Galeria A. Molder, Lisboa, 2021; M (de manifesto), Gallery of university of Minho, Braga, 2018; Pós-laboratórios de Verão, CIAJG, Guimarães, 2023; La vie invisible - 12 arMstes, et São Trindade, Centre Photographique d’Île- de-France (CPIF), 2022, among others.
