JD CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR – HYDROSERV
LOCATION – SAUDI ARABIA

We are looking for a responsible Contract Administrator to join our team.
Contracts Administrator (KSA)

· Mandatory requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent
· Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role
· Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying and contract administration
· Minimum 05 years’ experience in infrastructure projects in Qatar/UAE/KSA.
· Good knowledge in FIDIC/PWA conditions of contract, contract laws, legal practices, and industry practices
· Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work in the project.
· Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.
· Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
· Identifying potential risks involved within the contracts.
· Convene and chair all commercial meetings.
· Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of monthly payment applications and finalize the payment certificates with the assistance of the QS’s.
· Coordinating day-to-day administration of contracts
· Preparation of reports required for the finance department.
· Participate, record, and prepare the minutes of the progress meetings.
· Make sure that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order by the QS’s.
· Evaluate the unit rates for new work items with assistance from the QS’s.
· Establish a way of recording the details and monitoring the day's work recording and process.
· Lead in the preparation of variation orders.
· Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
· Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
· Advise on contractor’s resource allocation.
· Prepare financial statements for monthly reports
· Check and record measurements of completed work.
· Monitor contracts final cost estimates.
· Maintain expenditure records.
· Prepare the Final Account with all supporting documentation.
· Continuous monitoring and follow-up to ensure the receipt of payments against issued payment certificates.

Centrifugal pump units come in electrical as well as diesel engine-driven options, comprising flows varying from 95 m3/h to 400 m3/h and a head of 150 m to 50 m respectively.

The team in Oman in collaboration with , Al Mouj Muscat, and the University of Technology and Applied Sciences - Muscat, conducted a site visit to the Al Mouj Business Park Project in Muscat, where engineering students were introduced to deepwell dewatering systems and enabling works on one of Oman’s largest ongoing projects. We are proud to help reinforce students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience to further develop the education of Oman’s youth and future leaders.

With the FIFA World Cup 2022 fast approaching here in Doha Qatar, let’s take a look back at our project ‘Ras Abu Aboud Metro’ which was constructed with the aim of facilitating the of influx visitors to Doha with sufficient and accessible transport around the city.
Below is a before and after pictures of the metro station. The project consisted of 174 x deepwells, 26 x generators, 14 x diesel pumps, 13,887 meters of HDPE pipe with the project having a combined flow of 1650 l/s.

in Oman! Our Habitat Project which is located in the center of Muscat, has three basements with a general excavation of 12m depth and 15m depth for the holding tanks. The dewatering system consists of 16 nos. perimeter wells and 4 nos. internal wells, pumping approx. 70 l/s.

Hydroserv successfully dewatered an excavation with a maximum depth of 11m BGL with a dimension of 109m length x 34m width using a deepwell system where the NBN Office Commercial Building was built. A v-notch weir discharge tank, water clarifier and a flowmeter were installed near the discharge location to adequately follow the authorities protocols. A weekly water test was carried out and Hydroserv passed the requirements of Ashghal Public Works Authority (PWA) in order to discharge into their drainage network.
