The Ride for HOPE A special event highlighting the cause of children with special needs in Qatar in which motorbike enthusiasts from across Qatar get together to ride around D...

HOPE Qatar centre for persons with Disabilities were thrilled to welcome 12 wonderful volunteers from Hilton Pearl. Their time with the children was filled with joy, emotional connections, and heartfelt moments. Many volunteers expressed how the children reminded them of their own kids back home, making the experience even more touching. Thank you, Hilton Pearl team, for creating such a memorable and impactful day.

Continual Professional Development : Using NLP Techniques in communication.

The team at HOPE Qatar Centre for Persons with Disabilities attended a workshop on using Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques and language patterns in communication within and outside the organization. The session was led by our in-house resource person Ms. Anosha Saeed our Special Educator.
This program was part of the HOPE 2.0 initiatives that are being put in place prior to the commencement of the new academic year. HOPE puts in all efforts to ensure that our customers are highly satisfied by the impact and quality of our services.

HOPE Qatar Centre for Persons with Disabilities participated in the Autism Connect Networking event on 10 June 2024 organized by Child Development Centre. They shared information about the centre's services, addressed all inquiries, and connected with various other centres present at the exhibition. HOPE Qatar Centre is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of persons with disabilities in Qatar and has been actively involved in promoting this objective for over 18 years since inception in 2005.

Educationist from India visits HOPE Qatar

Mr. Shakil Ahmed Kakvi a renowned educationist, environmental activist, and founder of Kainat Foundation in India visited HOPE Qatar Centre for Persons with Disabilities with his delegation. He met with the Managing Director Dr. Rajeev Thomas and toured the facilities. He was given a special gift painting made by one of our students. Discussions focused on the possible extension of support by HOPE to Kainat Foundation to establish a Special Education school in Bihar in India. Let us wish him the very best in his endeavor and extend the impact of HOPE.

Ms.Aparna Merugu, Special Educator from HOPE Qatar Centre for Persons with Disabilities was the expert speaker during the recently held Art of Mindful Parenting lecture at the Immanuel Mar Thoma Church in Doha where she spoke on Identification of Developmental Concerns in Child Care. The event held as part of the Golden Jubilee initiative of the church was attended by a large number of parents who were introduced to Types & Causes of Developmental Delays, Signs and Symptoms, and methodologies for Prevention and Support.
