My name is Octavia Chiru. I like to think of myself as an artistic person, everything that surrounds me speaks about creation. I love all the colors and their shades, I love the sun, the rain, nature, accents, attention to detail and life, especially the responsible-sustainable one. I summarized them all in the brand that bears my name.

Introducing the atist: .concept

Passionate about art & design, Bianca Badescu found a way to express her creativity by painting and playing with jewelry in her free time, while working in the communication field and being the Editor-in-Chief of a Romanian fashion and lifestyle magazine. After a near to death experience and coming back from a coma, her past years were about rebuilding herself and her life. She started attending Assamblage, The Institute of Art & Design in order to study different techniques used in creating contemporary jewelry.

In Mãori, “koru” symbolizes new life, spiritual growth, regeneration and progress. KORU jewelry is meant to remind us a simple, yet vital truth in life: ALL WE HAVE IS NOW!

Anca Nanau attented the specialization courses of .school . She chose the creation of jewelry as a form of artistic expression because she considers them „an extension of any woman’s personality.” The Meltinjewels brand is a contemporary jewelry brand, created by Anca Nanau in 2021, in Bucharest from her passion for unique jewelry but also from her need for the artistic expression of her own feelings and experiences, for the interpretation of the diverse world of which we live.

Meet Vadym Logynenko, the Ukrainian jeweler behind LOGVIN, a brand known for its meaningful and intricate designs. Forced to relocate due to the war, Vadym now creates his jewelry in Romania. His work is acclaimed by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, and Cosmopolitan.
Vadym also showcases his collections at top European jewelry exhibitions like Romanian Jewelry Week, Bijorhca, and Gem Genève.

Alexandra Vlad is a marketeer, psychotherapist and jewelry designer & maker. She started making jewelry in 2021 and explores life and living through art.

POT - Collection
Every year millions of oak trees are planted ...by mistake. That’s because squirrels forget where they hide most of their acorns. By accident, ecosystems are created and the planet lives on.
I, too, am built from many mistakes. So I decided to capture this less pretty part of becoming into jewelry pieces. The acorn shell is used as symbol and holder of gems. It’s a reminder that failure is a big part of life, and it can lead to something really great.
In English “pot” refers to the receptacle in which seeds are planted. Here, the acorn holds the seeds of imagination. In Romanian it means “I can”. So, this collection is about planting the seeds of our dreams and persevering, always meeting our mistakes with curiosity.

Madeleine is an independent jewelry line by designer Madalina Tudor Radulea.
Each piece has a story and hopefully you will find someone to resonate with yours.
Every piece is designed and hand-crafted in Bucharest and the casting is done in a local studio. Every piece is either small series, or unique. The works are inspired by visual art, rich materials, extreme adornments, organic and raw forms and shaped with a minimalist aesthetic. We use recycled precious metals, like silver and gold, so each piece has dozens, or hundreds of years of history melted into a piece of design.

“I was a set designer in a theater, I worked for a long time in advertising.
The jewel-object goes beyond its condition of decorative element/ornament, it also has something to say: a story, a dream, a thought, a manifest for a cause, a statement. It speaks about emotions, hope, joy. I create my pieces of jewelry in silver and bronze, combined with leather, resin or gemstones.
I believe that whenever you need to step down for a moment from life’s roller coaster, the beautiful things will help you reconnect with yourself and remind you about what is really important. l’d love to see that when my pieces of jewelry are worn, the day becomes beautiful and the world a brighter place.”

Jewelry is a way to express yourself without saying a word, and I have always tried to convey my ideas and emotions through it.
Simplicity reduced to the absurd outlines the perfection of form, the ring becoming an extension of the self, a way of self-expression.
My pieces are based on the ever-changing visible changes that constantly alter our lives, familiarity being a difficult element to preserve in a world full of changes.

Sixteen - A new opportunity
On the surface of each piece you can find a small 15, or now, a 16, each revealing the story of the item with just a small number. They signify the age at which I made them, emphasizing the rarity of each piece.
