Summer is already hitting us hard and I had forgotten about it since last year, so I enjoying even more to work in the basement, working on new stock before vacation time and the city gets empty. # #
Set of gilded wooden lamps: 950 lei.
Distressed gilded mirror: 550 lei.
File library cabinet: 750 lei.

Always been attracted by nice objects but lately I grew up a passion for what is called Cabinet de curiosités ( Pièce où sont exposés des objets collectionnés, avec un certain goût pour l’hétéroclisme et l’inédit). This display cabinet is the perfect fit for something like that. A proper antique piece of furniture made off oak with an indistinct trapezoidal shape and the right medium size. Unfortunately I can’t keep it for myself 🥲. Dimensions: 76 x 46cm price: 950 lei. And yes all objects in it are for sale separately.

Pretty much happy with the result as it was another thing that I bought that enter in the project category witch usually means a lot of work. Anyway at the end again I’m glad I trusted my gut. Another one saved.

One of my hobbies is reinterpreting objects, restarting their stories through collages and associations that may surprise some, but bring me great pleasure to work on (rather play with).

The Belgian connection. The Easter vacation is about discovering a new city, but most importantly about meeting Bart, the Belgian known as somewhere in the heart of the Bulgarian countryside, near Plovdiv. Found his profile on Instagram and realized we’re from the same country, doing almost the same kind of business and with a personal connection to the place we live in (if you know, you know). I felt, without a doubt, this will be an interesting encounter.
To no surprise, he’s quite fun to be around, so if you miss us in the shop, know that I’m enjoying being shown around by the bulgarized “kid” whose warehouse made my heart tingle.
Here’s a sneak peek of my “trouvaille”, while I discover local music, which has forever changed the way I will look at autumn season in Romania, when entire cities smell like grilled peppers and eggplants!
When passing through Bulgaria, don’t forget to look up “Taralej”, with the song that made them famous, “Pecheni Chiushki”.

As vintage as it gets! Mid-century German Fat Lava ceramic lamp with original shade.

Getting ready for the snow. Meanwhile, we dream of spring with a few flowers to bring some sunshine. Jardiniera din piatră turnată. Dimensiuni: 40 x 32cm, înălțime 23cm. Prețul: 600 lei.

Va prezentam o masa de servire cu roți din perioada Art Déco realizat din tuburi de metal cromate cu etajere oglinzi. Luată din Belgia oxidată a fost demontată și lustruită completa.

Random objects, or as said by the British: Bric-à-brac.

Using what’s in my drawers to fix things is a great pleasure of my work. I used stones from a broken incomplet bracelet to make caps for those tiny Chinese parfum bottles. That sort of bottles are actually painted from inside.

If I was to rank the mirrors I found until now, this would definitely make the top 3, although it’s not the kind I would hang at home. This timeless Art Deco mirror with gilded wooden frame as very good proportion and still in a very good condition.
