"Speranței 13" façade.
I had to transformed it, to revive it, and to keep the original look and feel, but at the same time to make it glow, to be sophisticated in an elegant manner.

✏️ A part of the new floor plans we are currently working on from Speranței 13 project.
We had to transform most of the apartments from two small ones to a big one on each five floors.
Ground floor has one apartment and one studio.
There is also a semi-basement and an attic.

🥁📣 We present you a new project we are working on: Speranței 13, a building from 1948 located in the center of Bucharest.
This block of flats will be transformed in a beautiful consolidated building and will have on each floor one big luxury apartment.
All these apartments will be for sale.

🪜 Heritage Residence Project during the construction site.
All details were taken in consideration, as such a house can come with many challenges.
Thanks to a great team (interior designer, architect and constructor) we made sure that the end result would be spectacular!

Last week I was honoured to participate at the launch event of Lifestyle Design Interior album organised by RIDA in which my project was selected to be published.

Choosing the colors for the chest of drawers and night stands. The right combination between wood and metal, a work of art for a luxury bedroom: exclusive, sophisticated, eclectic.
This is why we proposed this chest of drawers together with the night stands in one of our projects.

Exclusive, sophisticated, eclectic.
I couldn't say "no" to this beautiful chest drawers, so I placed it in the Master Bedroom.
Smania artisans created a very particular woodwork by cutting and sewing the wood sheets, thus designing a sort of diamonds-like pattern.
I just love it!

Stained glass.
In order to add more history and value to this house, my client wanted to have stained glass on 2 big windows, one from the staircase and another from the kitchen.
The design was created with a specialist from Tecuci, Romania, and the result was a success!

Did you know that this wall covering (wandbespannung) nowadays is mainly used in palaces and museums?
In this foyer, being a historical buildings, the wall covering fabric is attached to wooden strips. The wooden strips must form a four-sided frame for this. Fastening is done with nails, or nowadays also with staples.

This majestic staircase was completely redesigned to fit the style of the house, which is Neo-Romanian from the Art-Deco period. Before that, the staircase looked very dark and sinister. You can see it in the image above.

The foyer. The entrance room of a 1930's residence was redesigned to be inviting and joyful.
As my client said: "The foyer is my favourite room of the house. The beautiful coloured wall coverings are a pleasure to see every day."

My client inspired me to pick the color for the walls of this staircase. As he wanted an elegant but a bold look, the navy blue color was the winner.🤩

I designed this living room to be cosy and inviting. The materials used are of a high quality, such as silk, fine wood, marble, and exclusive textile. The style of the interior has art deco influences, as the house itself was build in the 1930's.
