Ovidius University of Constanta is looking for participants to the first Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of the project “Tranquil City (Peaceful City)” (KA220), code 2023-1-TR01-KA220-ADU-000160651.

Project description:
The project aims to prevent individual behaviors that will negatively hinder social life, especially traffic congestion, by encouraging moral values, empathy and self-discipline among citizens. It encourages positive behaviors such as patience, reading, and using environmentally friendly transportation while discouraging negative behaviors. Behaviors such as honking the horn, reckless driving, and rude behavior. The ultimate goal is to create a harmonious and livable urban environment. Promotes the well-being and safety of citizens through environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

Minimum requirements for the participants:
* Romanian nationality;
* Must be over 22 years old;
* Must have an English language certificate of minimum B2.

Partner countries: Romania, Turkey, Portugal.

The LTTA will be held in Tokat, Turkey in the period 22-26.04.2024.

International Conference ”(Inter)cultural Dialogues”, 3rd edition

International Workshop “Creative and Strategic Cooperation in Higher Education. Perspectives and Challenges in Humanities”

Universitatea Ovidius din Constanța (UOC) a organizat, recent, cea de-a doua ediție a workshop-ului internațional „Creative and Strategic Cooperation in Higher Education. Perspectives and Challenges in Humanities”, activitate realizată în cadrul proiectului „Extinderea strategiei de internaționalizare și creșterea vizibilității Universității Ovidius din Constanța prin acțiuni de promovare în plan internațional ca universitate multiculturală comprehensivă” (ESPERO II).

La evenimentul desfășurat în format online au participat peste 25 de studenți și cadre didactice, din diferite țări, precum: Albania, Italia, România, Serbia, Turcia s.a..

„În cadrul evenimentului universitățile participante și-au prezentat ofertele educaționale și s-au stabilit bazele dezvoltării unor noi cooperări, care vizează înscrierea studenților de la universitățile partenere la un program de master din cadrul UOC, precum și înscrierea cadrelor didactice din străinătate în Centrul de cercetare și dezvoltare profesională « Studiile românești în context internațional » (STUR). Totodată, printre rezultatele așteptate de la acest workshop se numără efectuarea unor schimburi de cadre didactice și studenți, prin programele de mobilitate internațională, dar și atragerea candidaților la programele de studii doctorale desfășurate la Universitatea Ovidius din Constanța”, a precizat prof. univ. dr. Cristina Duhnea, directorul proiectului.

Proiectul CNFIS-FDI-2023-F-0538 - Extinderea strategiei de internaționalizare și creșterea vizibilității Universității Ovidius din Constanța prin acțiuni de promovare în plan internațional ca universitate multiculturală comprehensivă (ESPERO II) are o valoare totală de 306.000 lei și este unul dintre cele șapte proiecte ale UOC, finanțate de Ministerul Educației prin Fondul de Dezvoltare Instituțională.

Begin North Africa Online Edu Fair

Universitatea Ovidius din Constanța (UOC) a participat, recent, la un eveniment internațional de prezentare a ofertei educaționale, activitate realizată în cadrul proiectului „Extinderea strategiei de internaționalizare și creșterea vizibilității Universității Ovidius din Constanța prin acțiuni de promovare în plan internațional ca universitate multiculturală comprehensivă” (ESPERO II).

Evenimentul s-a desfășurat în format online, reunind 11 instituții din nouă țări diferite și s-a adresat publicului din Algeria, Egypt, Maroc și Tunisia.

„În cadrul târgului am prezentat oferta educațională a universității noastre, detalii despre procesul de admitere precum și aspecte cu privire la viața economică, socială și culturală a orașului Constanța. Participanții au fost interesați, în mod special, de programele de studii cu predare în limba engleză, dar au fost și tineri care și-au exprimat dorința de a urma programul pregătitor pentru specializările cu predare în limba română”, a precizat prof. univ. dr. Cristina Duhnea, directorul proiectului.

The conference aims to promote an international cultural environment within universities.
