As a professional wedding photographer, I understand why some people might ask for raw photos, thinking it gives them access to every moment captured. However, raw files are unprocessed, large files that lack the magic touch of editing that brings the photos to life. When I deliver the final images, I’ve carefully selected and enhanced them to reflect the beauty, emotion, and story of your day.
Raw files also require specialized software to open and edit, and without the necessary adjustments, they can appear flat or unpolished. My job is to take care of that editing process, using my experience to adjust colors, lighting, and other elements to ensure the photos match my artistic vision and your expectations.
In short, I don’t provide raw files because they aren’t the final product, it’s like giving you the ingredients instead of the finished meal! What I aim to deliver are beautiful, fully edited images that you can treasure for a lifetime.
