Suspension of Labor, Welfare and other Services for Migrant Workers Office – Jeddah

The public is advised that Migrant Workers Office - Jeddah will be closed on 22nd February 2024 in observance of Saudi Founding Day

The MWO-Jeddah will resume its operations on 25 February 2024 (Sunday), from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

"RECOGNITION NIGHT"

ATM: Medical Mission at the Bahay Kalinga, PCG Jeddah spearheaded by Alpha Phi Omega (APO).

With the theme “Healing Hands, Caring Hearts,”members of the APO Fraternity and other kind-hearted Filipino organizations conducted a medical mission and gift-giving to BK residents particularly those women and their children. Around 7 medical doctors of various nationalities participated in the event, ably aided by our world-class Filipino nurses who checked the conditions of these residents and prescribed medicines and vitamins. Hygiene kits including basic necessities were also given as token, an early Christmas treat for our residents.

Ber months na! Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang nagbabalak magbakasyon ng November/December sa Pilipinas.

Dahil dito, marami uli ang pupunta sa MWO-Jeddah para magpa-verify ng contract o mag proseso ng Balik Mangaggawa documents. Ang MWO Jeddah - Verification Unit ay matatagpuan sa ground floor, Bldg 3, Consulate of the Philippines).

Kabayan, mas mabuti na maging handa tayo sa mga requirements bago tayo pumunta sa MWO-Jeddah Verification Unit. Para matulungan po tayo, may ginawa kami na saparate group page para lamang sa mga announcements at katanungan tungkol sa Balik Manggagawa o verification ng contract.

Suspension of Consular and Other Services on 26 November 2023 in observance Bonifacio Day

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah would like to inform the public that it will be closed for Consular (Passport, Notarial, etc.), ATN and Labor Services on 26 November 2023 (Sunday) in observance of Bonifacio Day, a regular holiday pursuant to Proclamation No. 90 dated 09 November 2022.

Kamakailan ay bumisita ang mga opisyales ng Philippine Professional Organization (PPO) dito sa Jeddah para magbigay saya at galak sa ating mga BK residents.

Nagkaroon din ng seminar sa Basic Electrical Safety, Financial Literacy, at Barista/Cold Drinks Making para maihanda sila sa maliit na pangkabuhayan pagbalik nila sa bansa.

It is with great sadness that the Department of Migrant Workers announces the passing of our dearest Secretary Susan “T***s” Ople.

Secretary T***s peacefully joined our Creator at around 1PM today, August 22, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

We ask for prayers for the eternal repose of the soul of our dear Sec. T***s.

We ask as well for prayers for the Ople family.
