LED lighting is one such product which offers significant savings of electricity i.e., as much as 70 percent. For example a 400 watt metal halide is replaced by 150 watt LED light fixture. In case of air conditioning or refrigeration such savings are even more pronounced considering heating effect of conventional metal halide.
