Let's give this another try, eh? 😉
Evening all you wonderful SF
Did someone say only 2 sleeps until Sarcomafest 9? 😁
As mentioned yesterday, here is the interview with our awesome headliners Orphan Gears.
Band history:
Orphan Gears formed in 2011 and have been performing across the UK ever since. In that time we have released two albums and two EPs and had the honour of playing at bloodstock festival two years in a row.
Describe your sound:
The band's sound is a mixture of classic heavy metal, garage rock and a smattering of blues - think a faster, heavier Clutch
Who are our Influences?
Influences are wide ranging, from the aforementioned Clutch to Deep Purple, via smatterings of Iron Maiden, Atomic Bitchwax and Black Sabbath.
What are we doing for the rest of the year?
For the rest of this year we are working on writing and recording the follow up to our self titled album.
What are we most looking forward to at Sarcomafest?
We're incredibly proud to be supporting Sarcoma UK, and of course getting to watch all the other bands!
And we’re incredibly proud to have you guys!
So, if you want to see OG and seven other awesome bands this Saturday, check out the link below for advance tickets.
Tomorrow evening we’ll post the set times and more SF related info.
Have a great evening.

Evening Sarcomafest Peeps!
I don’t usually like to blow my own trumpet but just for once I’m going to 🎺 🎺.
Just look at the photo below! What a superb line up we have for you at Sarcomafest on Saturday 😊.
I think you’ll agree that there’s a great variety of awesome bands on offer and we definitely cannot wait to get the doors open at 2 and welcome you all in to the Red Lion.
Local newcomers The Black Bison are the first band on at 2.30 and are making their live debut. So arrive early, support the bands and the scene and have a great time.
