[ NEW ARTIST ]
Danish (Aarhus)- based multidisciplinary artist Rasmus Benjamin has never been tied to format, technique or narrow visuals. With a background as art director he’s worked across various mediums when building the foundation for his own artistic journey. Graphics design, painted canvases, sculptures as well as product design are fields in which he’s put his iconic mark.
“I like to make stuff that pops into my mind - that gives me a wider angle on the results instead of being an artist that only does one specific style or visual representation. I never want to be tied down or limited in my processes when it comes to my inner thoughts or when I’m actively creating”
Rasmus’ “Astrobear” - 60cm, limited to 200 pieces world wide, just arrived at our gallery in Gothenburg 🙏🏼
Alex Mustonen & Daniel Arsham’s Snarkitecture- interior piece ”Broken Mirror” is put on show inside our main gallery in Gothenburg.
Broken Mirror is mirror that does not abandon its function, but enriches and transforms it, by becoming an object of art and going beyond the boundaries of direct form-function correspondence. The project was born from the encounter between Gufram's – the most radical brand of Italian design – will to experiment, and the unmistakable planning figure of the New York duo Snarkitecture, who investigates the boundaries between art and architecture with the same curiosity of the first Italian radical designers from the Sixties and Seventies.

The iconic Bocca® is our latest addition to the gallery from Italian art interior concept Gufram.
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, Bocca® revolutionizes its image: 25 new colours dye Gufram’s iconic lips, which for the occasion are dressed up in an unprecedented, more material and structured fabric. It’s a new look that changes the known perspective of the object of design that more than others represents the perfect abstraction of feminine beauty. It looks to new horizons and new usage possibilities: it’s got a strong and at the same time versatile personality, which is ideal for both the residential and contract living.
We at Mankovsky deliver Gufram interior globally and Bocca® is included in our permanent collection at the gallery in Gothenburg.

”Another Green Cactus”
Gufram, Italy
We at Mankovsky are proud to partner up with iconic Italian art interior brand Gufram for Sweden.
All Gufram interior is shipped directly to clients within 8-10 weeks within the EU.
The subject of several, free and often ambiguous interpretations, Cactus is the icon of Italian design that has revolutionized the domestic landscape, by subverting the borders between indoor area and open space. Cactus comes as an ironic totem, and embodies the grit, the imagination and the humour of the design of the Seventies. Likely to draw upon itself everybody’s attention, this hall-tree redeems itself from functionalism at all costs, because it can perform its function, but also be used as a merry decorative element. You have freedom of interpretation. Cactus comes to life in 1972 thanks to the genius of Guido Drocco and Franco Mello, and from the start it questions the static and rigid world of interior design.
One of the softest place in the Earth is... BOCCA®. Each, suspended halfway between art and design, carries the banner of the radical spirit higher and higher.
Ladies and gentlemen, here is BOCCA®, the most sensual sofa of all time. Created by Studio 65, it presents itself in all its splendor with a new wool fabric and 25 shades: from earthy reds to the freshness of blue and green. Soon in the gallery both online and offline.
We at Mankovsky Gallery are proud to present a match made in heaven. We are linking up with iconic Italian interior design brand Gufram on an exclusive representation for our region in Sweden.
First up will be the Bocca™️ Unlimited sofa in all its 25 colorways which will be available both on our gallery online as well as our two gallery- spaces that are opening up in Gothenburg from 4th of March.
