So sorry to hear of the passing of the great P***e Danielsson.......One more thing...I only met P***e up close once,sometime in the 1990’s on a Stena ferry where I was playing in a dance band. P***e, Kjellberg and ( I think ) Joakim Milder came into the bar/lounge where we were playing (embarassing).After we stopped playing we started talking and low and behold P***e starts buying me beer! WTF? I should have been ordering champagne for him! Besides playing so great he seemed to be a humble and super sweet guy......

Hello Bellevue Jazz followers! Let me start off by mentioning that the recent collaboration between BJ and Rollin’ Bistros Backyard was a great success! Full house and the band, dvs Johan Johansson Trio (Olli Rantala, Lade Källfelt) w Vanessa Liftig sounded great. Backyard will be presenting jazz once a month during the rest of the spring. The next concert there will be on 13/4 when " Bosen/Jardemark/Bergström Trio" will perform. This is a wonderful group, please check out Rollin' Bistros Backyard FB page (soon )for more details.
Bellevue Jazz will present it’s next concert on 12/4 with the one and only MATTI OLIKAINEN who is perhaps best known through his work with Franska Trion. On 12/4 Matti will be performing with his own trio, Kjell Jansson on bass and Magnus Gran on drums. This concert will be at ÖGAT! Post and details coming soon!

Hello followers of Bellevue Jazz! New things happening this spring! Bellevue will be working together with Rollin Bistros Backyard( located at Gamlestadens Fabriker) as they begin presenting jazz concerts starting now in februari. Not all of their events will be together with us but this first one is. Johan Johansson Trio feat. Vanessa Liftig. We’ve managed to get
this Majorna icon to do his thing in Gamlestaden and together with Vanessa. Rounding out the trio is Olli Rantala/bass and Lars Källfelt/drums. This band has performed many times together and perform a wide variety of music. 24/2 is the date, kl 20.00!

Hello followers of Bellevue Jazz! Just want to give a big thank you to Alexander Lövmark and fellow musicians Calle Bagge, Arvid Jullander, Axel Mårdsjö and Adam Ross for a great night on 18/11! The band sounded fantastic, had a great crowd , plus beautiful sound ( thanks Johan Lundberg!) and a perfect vibe at Bellevue Jazz.
NEXT CONCERT WILL BE ON 16/12 WITH THE EBBA DANKEL TRIO! Joining Ebba will be HILDA NORDQVIST on bass and MAURITZ GULLBRANSSON on drums. There will be a jam efter Ebbas concert ( I promise !). I will be posting more on Ebba shortly so stay tuned!

Monica Zetterlund-Stipendiaten Alexander Lövmark, har prisats som en av Sveriges kanske mest underhållande jazzvokalister. Lövmark, som har vunnit 1:a pris i Montreux Jazz Voices Competition i Schweiz samt Monica Zetterlundstipendiet 2021, är en charmant, energisk och mycket kreativ sångare. En uttrycksfull vokalist och en riktig scatfantom. Tänk en manlig 2000 talets Ella Fitzgerald. Med samma ursväng och musikalitet men med en modernare estetik tar han sig an standardjazzen och för den vidare in i tvåtusentalet.

Han är uppbackad av ett band bestående av sina favoritmusiker i Sverige.

Hello Followers of Bellevue Jazz! It’s been awhile since our clubs last concert but this falls first concert is not long off! On November 18th
vocalist Alexander Lövmark and his band will be performing at ÖGAT. This is a fantastic group and this concert should not be missed. I will be posting more details soon but keep this date in mind now: 18/11 kl 19.00!
