Yesterday, we held a summer gathering with our Linköping consultants, where we were challenged with tricky problems and challenges in Linköping's city center, divided into two teams, using teamwork, cleverness, and competitive spirit. The event was organized by and took us to places such as the Cathedral, St. Lars Church, and the Folke Filbyter statue. Afterwards, we concluded the evening with a dinner together at a restaurant called Matbaren in Linköping. Now, we are looking forward to an exciting autumn after a well-deserved summer break.

Yesterday we participated at the career fair LARM at Linköping University. We had a great time meeting future engineers and discussing the possibilites within control systems and AI at Combine. It was also fun to see that our cube was very popular as usual!

We’ve taken the decision to offer all of our consultants at Combine to take a class in CPR through the company. We believe it is important to know what to do in case of an emergency, whether at work or in your private life. We recently had one of these classes in Gothenburg and Linköping. We were taught how to act in potentially urgent situations – for example if someone is experiencing cardiac arrest, is choking or drowning, or having a stroke. It’s important to dare to help in this kind of emergency. There was a mix of theoretical and practical learning, and the class was highly appreciated by our consultants.
We designed and developed an end-to-end integration platform for Keller, the world’s largest geotechnical solutions specialist. Our product allows managers and engineers to have real-time access to their heavy construction-field machinery. Overall, and thanks to the real-time connection between the field and the office, Keller’s workflow has been astonishingly improved, production problems solved much faster, and decision-making taken to the next level. Yesterday Women of Combine had a get-together in Linköping. We visited the Swedish airforce museum, where we had a guided tour and lunch. The get-together was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to discuss topics of interest and future plans and collaborations. We are already looking forward to our next get-together! ✨

Combine is the lead technical partner in the Vinnova-funded consortium Ocean Data Factory Sweden (ODF), Sweden’s national marine data laboratory. Last week we had a group of students from Chalmers University of Technology visit our office. We introduced them to Combine and then had a fun night together with pizza, games and most importantly a pentathlon! This was a cooperation with the reception committee from Chalmers’ Mechatronics program, which we also challenged to construct a ping-pong gun. They delegated the task to CASE who delivered a very innovative and state of the art product. Thank you everyone for a great night, we had a blast!
