Hi Everyone!

Now it's just over 3 weeks since thus fantastic event has taken place. It took me some time to reflect upon everything and to digest it all, to be able to put this all in words, (not one of my strongest features 😅)

We passed trough 2 years of uncertain and very unstable situation that The Abyss and The Abyss Festival The Abyss Festival faced, 2 years of damn hard work and invention and reinvention, to keep to keep in the existence. In mids of all these troubles, when I could not see the light on the end of the tunnel, your overwhelming support came, from left, right and centre.

I'm taking this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you, that has kept your tickets and did not demand refunds. That was a massive help and one of still "raison d'être" of The Abyss. We fought with and for you and the results were evident on 4th and 5th of November!

Here by we want to thank firstly you, the ticket keepers for standing with us when it was most difficult! Next on, we want to thank QTECH for being a brother/sister company to us, and for their neverending hard work, work of highest quality and precision and for always believing in us! Jesper Sirenius thank you for exeptional technical coordination, and perfect work done with patience, humility and always with a smile on the face! Thank you Rob Sherred for fantastic sound work on the big stage! Also big thanks to Dunderbjörn crew for helping out every year.

I want to thank all the people to sign up for volunteering with us, for their hard work, for giving their free time to make this festival happen. Without you this would not be possible. I want to thank Emma Kling Emma Linea Uhrbrand for doing exeptional work of coordination, and spent hours on top of hours working hard under a lot of pressure. I would recommend this girls to any employer out there, "die hard" ladies with a heart of gold! Also a very special thank you to Morten Enger Bratli for taking holidays to volonteer for us 4 days in a row, and working tightly with security and different crazy situations. Same goes to Samuel Norberg Tang and Banks. Living Heroes!

Thanks to all suppliers, our food truckers that keep your bellies full, and thanks to brewery for band catering. Huge thanks to Gothenburg Film Studios for hosting us. What a fantastic place!

Massive THANK YOU goes for every one of you that attended and made this festival so special. What a big global family. You were damn fantastic. Always great to see each and everyone of you! Feel free to share your photos, comments and everything you want with us. It will only contribute to great memory line of this festival. Pictures say more than 1000 words.

Last but not least, humongous "thank you" for years of collaboration to my best friend and my partner in crime Marco Mazzoleni, neverending love. Thank you for investing in all my crazy ideas and beeing best business partner!
Massive thanks to core members Madioska Sela Hammah Lekoth and Äntön Sünëssön , the power couple, and a huge thank you to Svensson, who is sadly not on our team anymore, but has massively contributed and was a founding member of The Abyss Festival. We missed you this year. All of these people, next to their full time jobs, have put hours and hours of hard work, to deliver this unique Underground Heavy Metal Festival.
