PO has an impressive background in International Freight Forwarding, having joined our industry back in 1959. With over 65 years of experience, his knowledge is invaluable, and it is a true honour to have him as part of the Traffic Tech organization in Sweden.

On this beautiful day, PO turns 85 years old, yet he continues to come to the office day after day with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm.

BJORA Borlind AB blir Traffic Tech Nordics AB
Under 2022 gick vår organisation igenom spännande förändringar. I april fusionerades våra två bolag, BJORA Group AB och Borlind Bersén & Co ihop och blev BJORA Borlind AB. I maj blev vi sedan uppköpta av den kanadensiska koncernen Traffic Tech Inc. som en del av deras satsning att etablera sig i Europa, en resa som bara börjat. To give you all an idea of what a normal day at Traffic Tech Nordics look like, we take the liberty to give a small story. After a long and hard year, we see that volumes are finally going back up and we feel that we have a bright future ahead of us despite all tragic happenings globally at this point.

One of our regular customers sends both OOG cargo in combination with ordinary container cargo, and our warehouse in Gothenburg have won several of their customers’ trust. This is because we always work hand in hand with the customers to coordinate the cargo in order to minimize number of containers used, and to provide a good economy for our customers.
In this case we got two (2) pcs Glas-machines destinated to Brazil, each machine weighing about 27 tons with dims such as 6,90 x 2,42 x 3,7 meters (LxWxH), and about 10 x 40’ HC containers per machine. The so called heavylifts were taken care of at a location within the port under supervision of Johan Bjorklund. We performed transloading and seafastening, all based on own generated stowage and handling plans.

At our own warehouse, we performed loading of the remaining goods and as we are equipped with various forklifts, we easily reduced the number of containers from scheduled by customer = 10 x 40’ HC to only 6 x 40’ per machine. This was possible by working smart with the cargo, communications with our customer about, for example, stackability of the crates and boxes and again the benefit for the customer by using Traffic Tech was a reduction of their costs for this shipment by 40 %.

This is an ordinary week for us, and that means that we are recognized as one of the few instead of one among many.

Long time no see...
After a quite rainy summer, the sun has finally found its way to Gothenburg. We made the most out of it and arranged a hamburger BBQ for lunch, as we also had a visit from our old colleague Britt who retired earlier this year. A nice way for all of us to get together and have a chat.
Hard to beat workdays like this!

Long time no official statements, but finally.
They year 2022 is getting closer to it's end but still there is time to state some of the happenings.
Dec 01-2022 half a day spent to monitor and perform a quite tricky loading operation close to our port.
Two pcs each 26,5 tons with rather high center-grade but handled just to perfection.
Operations were planned in details and the two lifts were performed within 45 minutes.
The Freight Forwarding life is all about planning, performing and together with vendors (friends) you make wonder's happen quickly.
This is how we operate BJORA Borlind and our new owners in Canada messers Traffic Tech.
2022 has also been the year of a New Start for us, now being 100 % owned in Canada of a very expansive company who indeed now start to expand in Europe.
New management but still same people so the future looks great for us all.
The year been the year of changes and challanges and all to the best.
Our statement is valid (as before) we are here to stay and to develop together with you our dear customer, partner ands most of all friend's.

Life of a forwarder....
Not only base products such as paper, iron-steel etc is handled thru our warehouse.
Encl plse find some nice pics of cargo we recently handled and needless to say but anyways, of curse we need experienced crew for handling all of this.
We need expertise in physical handling, securing and fastening of cargo for a voyage.
We also need knowledge about global rules and regulations not only in Sweden but also on the various destinations the cargo is travelling to.
All of that is in-house in BJORA Borlind AB.

We stated so many times that no task really is to big to handle by us, so plse enjoy below.
This chapter concerns a challenging transport we just been awarded.
To handle and ship a helicopter in a 40' high cube container from Sweden to Canada.
The owners maintenence crew took a flight over to Sweden to dismantle the helicopter partly, and to load into a container and properly block and brace it for the journey to Canada.
We can assure you that several contact were made over the phone and as we

where selected for this sensetive transport.
We undertake the responsability fm loaded in to container to delivered airport of destination in Canada. Incl all matters like export and import clearences, domestic transports in Sweden and Canada as well as all service around this happening.
It is truly great to be of service and also being a part of a global company with it's interest towards Europe.

It is with great honor that we today can introduce you to our new owners.

Traffic Tech International is a North American company with Headquarters in Chicago and Montreal.

Their decision to explore and develop in Europe made it possible for us to be a part of their organization for whom we been the official agent for three (3) years here in Scandinavia.

For you as a customer to BJORA Group AB and or Borlind Bersen & Co AB we earlier informed that we merged the two companies together to be BJORA Borlind AB. This became in effect last days of April 2022.

Now with start from 2022-05-01 we belong to the above mentioned company namely Traffic Tech.

For you, this will mean business as always and before but with the knowledge that our company now have a strong International owner who just like us shares the tradition to go the extra miles for satisfying our customers.

Monday morning May 02 we received a group of people from the European head-office ex Amsterdam who spent three days together with us and for sure welcomed us onboard the Traffic Tech vessel.
Great and three full days with a lot of strategy and plans for our mutual future was the result.
Proudly we are now a part of a bigger group which will make us reach next levels in the forwarding life.

In Sweden it is the same crew as you been used to deal with and noted shall that we during 2021 pro-younged our crew to be better prepared for the future.
That means of course not that we (the older generation) no longer is there.
What it means is that we in combination develop our company to form a new generation young forwarders who put their aim on the word’s service and customer orientation in the first room.
Now also having an International company behind our back to make us grow and invent possibilities for a great future.

So, as always we are happy for your trust and gratitude to use our various services and together with you we see the future as bright and crystal clear.
This despite all happenings on the globe right now.

Dear reader,

New management but business as usual…………and aim for the future.

After 45 years in the Forwarding Industry and various leading positions it is time for me and us to make some changes,

Within our group of companies we a few years back in time decided to make a change in lead of the group.

The magical date was set to be April 01-2022.

From this day and forward Mrs Ida Grev will commence and take over the responsibilities as Managing Director of BJORA Group AB, and to lead the group into the future.

She together with her newly established management team consisting of Miss Anna Lundgren in the position as Operations Manager and Mr Erik Karlsson as Director Finances and Administration is now to be seen as the future of the group.

Mr Johan Bjorklund will remain in the group as Senior Advisor for a few more years, assisting the new management team, based on his experience over the past 4,5 decades.

Of course we say well deserved and congratulations to Ida and her new team to the nominations.

In a world full of changes this is for sure the right move, to prepare for a very special and quite challenging future in an old team but with a new lead into the next coming decades by a younger generation.

All the best wishes to the team.

And for you dear reader, customer, and friend, for you and us it will be business as usual and by that even a little harder focus on the future and development of our abilities to serve our customers in a never changing world.

Well dear reader,
Almost another year passed and we are entering in to December,2021. In many ways it feels like it was yesterday we had cold temperatures and snow but a year passes quickly.
A year to remember as a year filled with challenges due to present global situation with lack of space and equipment in many trade-lanes.
A year filled with inovative solutions for our customers were we in old fashion style went back to arrange conventional shipments instead of using containers for handling huge volumes of cargo.
This year we have been asked to perform on all modes of transport by using, air, ocean both as container and conventional shipments as well as ground transportations by truck and rail.
A better sum up will follow towards the end of the year but it's been a great year despite global pandemics and what not but the guts feeling is that we are sailing towards better times and a healthier enviroment.
So dear reader plse enjoy some of the pics showing various challenges but also some pics showing where we are presently moving closer to Christmas and again a New Year.
I am certain the New Year will also hold a lot of challenges but our team is ready to take them on one by one to make our growth good by satisfying our customers various needs.

Dear reader,
It is time again to handle global projects.
This time it is shipments being manufactured in Serbia, shipped out of Croatia and delivered in Usa. All for a Swedish customer.
A lot of planning is behind this load and towards medio August 2021 it was time to start all action.
Heaviest pcs is about 50 tons and longest length is about 28 meters with glaswall-sidings.
We are of course proud to state that after all planning and arrangements it all went 100% as planned.
Now shipment is loaded and on it's way so within a few weeks from now the ship will arrive it's destination and our partners are ready to effect import customs clearance and assist with local arrangements for our customer.
It is truly great to be given trust to perform and again it is being proven that a local forwarder in Sweden can get global action involving several countries and people to meet the demands that a shipment of this dignity demands.

Dear reader,
The first six months of 2021 has gone and we are presently in what we in Scandinavia refer to as High-Summer.
Temperature's are quite nice, sunny clear skies, long days and bright nights.
In many way you can say life is great right now.
First six months has meant a lot of work (as usual) but good fruitful work leading to development so we wish to extend a warm and healthy thank you to all our customers and partners for your strong support and trust that you show our company.
Together with that we wish to show some nice summer pictures some related to work and some related to the great life we all deserve to live right now in the summer time.
To you all have a great summer 2021 and rest out, the fall will be as challenging as we all want and together we will reach new goals and developments.

The story of the Tinplates.
Earlier this winter/spring we stated that we got a mission for one of our customers, to arrange a part-chartered vessel out of Kaohsiung in Taiwan to Sweden with about 775 tons Tinplates.
The vessel loaded in Kaohsiung first week of March and arrived in Sweden (Gavle) end of April. Unloading of the products and dedicated truck's to their plant to make sure our customer did not got a stop in their production.
All want well and both we and our customer was happy with the result.
The majority of the cargo was loaded on to railcars to do the last journey to Gothenburg and the interim storage we do have here at our bonded warehouse for them.
All in all 24 railcars were chartered and safely onloaded here from were the cargo now is feed daily to our customers production unit.
So, this is how it all works when synergies and efforts are put in to effect and that we do perform tailormade solutions to all our customers demands and requests.
