Tim started working at Entercard in February 2018 in Customer Service. During his three years there, Tim felt it was time to move on and try something new. He saw an open position in the IT Department and got the job as a Service Desk Specialist.

Networking is important, but how do we adapt our approach to a remote-work environment? Entercard's HR Specialist, Anastasia Larsson, our internal networking guru, gave us an update on how we should network in pandemic times.

Here are Anastasia's Top 3 tips for networking remotely:
1. Reach out to people internally via Skype to initiate the contact, instead of writing an email.
2. Utilize your social networks, like LinkedIn. For example, reach out to people that shared interesting content.
3. Schedule virtual coffee talks with your colleagues outside of your immediate team. Those can usually be done on a short notice and if a person has 10-15 minutes for a chat.

For today's "Breakfast club", Jonas Drage Støeng, Head of Re:member Cards Sales, gave us an update on an exciting strategic project for the development of re:member cards in Norway. Entercard is continuously evaluating how we can increase the value of our products to our customers.

Some days at work are better than others 🎉 On Saturday we had the pleasure to invite 200 kids and their mothers to the cinema to see the new Disney movie ’Encanto’, in cooperation with Fryshuset. Thank you Erika Blom, Magdalena Chajecka, Sofie Schwertner and Cornelia Karlsson Rozental for making this happen.

Once again, we had our successful Breakfast Club this time from Trondheim. Entercard’s Joar Dahlen spoke about continues move for our premise infrastructure to the Cloud.

Monday and the first day of hybrid working at Entercard. Today is also the cinnamon bun day in Sweden, so we will celebrate this by having cinnamon buns in the office. What a great start of the week!

In Scandinavia the Covid restrictions are being lifted. Some people are celebrating this by booking a trip abroad. Here are our best tips when it comes to payment and how to use your credit card when travelling abroad:

* Make sure you got more than one credit card, then you have payment options and if you lose one credit card, your holiday won’t be ruined.

* Use local currency when you take out money from cash machines and paying with your credit card.

* Pay your flights with the credit card that has the best travel insurance.

Thanks to everyone at Entercard Sweden who participated in the Keep Sweden Tidy day this Saturday. Together with The Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation, we were over 130,000 people collecting garbage. Amazing that so many people care about the environment!

This weekend Entercard will contribute to keep our environment free form garbage by going out to pick up litter in our neighborhood, the forest or perhaps at the beach. What’s your plan during the weekend?
