We are thrilled to share that co-founder of FemHire and SmartCoding, Despina Stamkou, had the incredible honour of being a finalist at the Nordic Women in Tech Awards and participated in the Gala event that took place in Reykjavik on Nov 9th.

While the prize may not have found its way to Despina's hands, the real treasure was the opportunity to connect with a phenomenal group of women who are shaping the future of technology. The talent and innovation in the room were impressive, while the speeches were so impactful, it reminded us of the power we hold as a community. The organizers brought together a community of trailblazers into the stunning Iceland, therefore a thank you for the recognition and for the chance to stand among them, it was a true privilege that evening to interact with so many brilliant minds.

A huge congratulations to all the winners but also to all the 2023 finalists! 👏 What astonishing role models! Your passions, work, leadership and achievements are paving the way for more women to thrive in the tech industry! ❤️ Let's continue to uplift and support each other on this journey.
