It’s been a while since a dabbled in procreate…here’s are some “digitally painted” leaves for a project down the road.

A closer look at GIRA without animations.

Originally inspired by the look and sound of bicycle chains, which later on, in the design process, became more liquid and “oil like” in feel and movement.

A light display font in the works : This slab serif still needs some fine tuning here and there, but can hopefully be released in the near future 👀

A part of my presentation description:
“I added string to the cover to represent a net.
With Thomas Hobbes, using a poetic name for his book of social contract theory : "Leviathan" (A sea serpent or monster noted in theology and mythology). I thought the net lining on the cover could symbolize, not only a fishing net, that could be used to capture the creature itself, but also as something that could be used to capture or grasp Hobbes' political philosophy ideas within the book.”
