Bronze statue by Carl Milles of Gustavus Adolphus. The statue was a model for a monumental public statue that never came to be in Philadelphia, USA. The statue depicts the lion of the north praying on his knees before the battle of Lützen. Sadly god wasnt listening that day.

A pair of enormous carved oak fauteuils in faux fur from the second hall of the 19th century formerly in a French hunting chateau and sold at Sothebys 2022 now at Hagelins Antik at älvsjömässans antique fair. The table lamp made for an exhibition in 1935. The lamp illustrates mankinds technological progression during the last 250000 years. Danish.

The second one of the two chandeliers that found a new holme at Artillerigatan is truly a piece de resistance among Oscarian chandeliers. The chandelier rocks a richly gilded and highly decorated frame incorporating such things as mythological winged creatures and more. The frame is most likely French and the crystal Bohemian.,and then assembled in Sweden. This is a combination not at all unusual of pan European trade during this period. Made Ca 1860 and truly a great example of a creme de la creme chandelier made for the new commercial elite. 🇸🇪

One of the two chandeliers of ours that have found a new home at Artillerigatan, Stockholm. This one is an early Oscarian with bohemian crystal and gilded frame. Made Ca 1870. 🇸🇪
