In the week, our retailer in Norrland paid a visit to our factory in Vimmerby, Richard Tornberg, Malin Holmquist, and Magnus Hallin from Optima Belysning & Teknik AB in Luleå had the opportunity to take a closer look at new products and also discuss smart lighting control with Jan Bietkowski from Helvar.

At Aura Light, we are proud and happy to have our own production and a brand new Showroom. This week, we had a visit from Bravida Västerås and Uppsala. A lovely bunch of installers who got to see how our products are manufactured and also received a demonstration of the latest innovations in lighting. We also took the opportunity to offer them a “sneak peek” of a brand new downlight that will be launched next week. Keep your eyes open for Brahe!

We welcome Aura Light's newest addition!

This week has been filled with joy as we have welcomed our new colleagues from different countries to introduction days at our factory in Vimmerby. During two full days they have received a comprehensive company introduction, where they explored our production facility and had the opportunity to meet and learn from colleagues from different parts of the company. Of course, we ended the days in a fun and practical way by letting the new employees try to assemble luminaires.

We are delighted to have you on board our journey. Here's to a bright and productive future together!

Press | Reduces energy consumption with new lighting

Oskarshamn municipality has recently updated the lighting in its 12 sports halls with our efficient LED luminaires. Through this modernization the municipality has managed to save between 50-70% in energy consumption and over 500,000 SEK a year.

By integrating Casambi's or Helvar's ActiveAhead control system into our luminaires, they can wirelessly communicate with each other. This is possible through groupings, self-learning functions and customized settings, which optimizes both energy efficiency and safety.

– Modern LED lighting with smart control reduces energy costs and CO2 emissions while improving the working environment, explains Thomas Eliasson, who has long experience in smart control solutions for facilities.

Thomas also highlights that the installation of smart control systems is simple as all that is required is to mount the luminaires, connect the power and the lighting is ready for use. It doesn't get easier than that!

We are now transitioning to Hydro CIRCAL within the Kvill luminaire family. Many of our luminaire housings are already manufactured with Hydro's aluminum alloys, which have a low climate impact. By actively using sustainable and recyclable materials, we effectively contribute to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting circular product development. Our collaboration with Norsk Hydro is crucial in our efforts to reduce global emissions, and we are pleased to announce that the luminaire frames in the Kvill family are now made from recycled aluminum.

During the autumn, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Vimmerby Gymnasium , a secondary school with a strong focus on Industry, Technology, and Electricity.

During their visit, we talked about the importance of good lighting and we gave them an insight into our organization. They were able to see how our products are developed, have our products demonstrated in our showroom and of course witness when an idea is turned into reality in our production.

The response from the students has been very positive and we are happy to have had the opportunity to inspire and guide them during these days.

As Christmas is approaching we would like to thank all our customers and partners for the good cooperation in 2023 and look forward to what 2024 has in store. This year we have donated 11 survival kits to Unicef being sent to children in need.
