While it may feel as if this absolutely necessary revolution is taking place beyond our reach, there are many ways that we as allies can aid those who are caught in the heat of battle. Creating AWARENESS might just be the most important, and in many ways the most accessible, support we can give: to demonstrate, to debate, to speak up, to question, and to inform – to exercise our freedom of speech in support of those who have been robbed of theirs.

As news outlets and access to internet are being censored in Iran, with forces closing in on innocent demonstrators all around the country, we need to start putting real pressure on those who have the power to take real action in bringing justice to the people of Iran. "Hi! I'm Adam, a 26-year-old, half-and-half, Swedish-American mix from Stockholm. I currently live in Solna where I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog (a Golden Retriever pup named Tommy). I also end up spending a lot of time with music (playing and listening), hobby tech projects, and video games.  
 
On the practical side of things, I am good at back-end development and DevOps for cloud environments, as that is what I have worked with in the past. As soft skills, I see myself as an analytical person who is very detail-oriented when it comes to problem-solving. I am now very excited to have been given the opportunity to work on back-end development for the amazing Levels startup, Afripods! 
 
I am very much looking forward to growing as a developer and as a person at Levels. I am eager to start working with the team and taking on new, fun challenges, and innovating together!"

In a world where staying on top of customer satisfaction and product development is detrimental to a business’s success, having easy access to real-life customer feedback is becoming increasingly valuable. But even though our current reality may rest on a constant stream of information and data, actually separating the wheat from the chaff is a whole other story.

It was while working with product development at Electrolux, one of the world’s leading producers of home appliances, that Amanda Lilja repeatedly faced issues related to finding and connecting with relevant target groups to collect user feedback. The available profiles were seriously limited, and 'professional testers' seriously altered the results. Some participants didn’t even show up.

”Without relevant test subjects and reliable feedback on our services, the data we based our strategic decision-making on was poor or even worthless. Many times over, the investments of our time and resources were almost completely lost.”

There had to be a better, long-term solution — an undiscovered key to automizing the process of collecting and handling large quantities of high-quality customer feedback on an international scale.

Yesterday, attended the 23rd edition of the bi-annual Innovation Forum hosted by at their beautiful headquarters in Solna. 🚀 At the forum, six carefully curated ventures pitched their business ideas to a digital and live audience of investors in the hopes of finding their perfect match.

Meet Max Lövenheim, our new Developer joining our amazing team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers here at 👋 💛

Max has an academic background in Applied Mathematics at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology). He has a passion for tennis, both as a player as well as a part-time coach. He loves nature and animals — tame and wild — and spends a lot of his holidays skiing, hiking, and fishing.

At Levels, Max is looking forward to specializing in back-end development and hopefully data science later on. He feels intrigued by Levels' ambition to combine development, innovation, and investment in a forward-thinking and tech-oriented environment.

This weekend, from Friday through Sunday, the Levels in-house founded venture Nordic Outdoor Adventures is hosting Outdoor Festival STHLM 🏕 at the Royal Djurgården - a new event for outdoor veterans, enthusiasts, and beginners alike. The festival will be the biggest of its kind in the Nordics, and because of our amazing partnerships with companies such as Fjällräven, Naturkompaniet, Swedish Lapland, and more, visitors will have their pick of a wide range of workshops, talks, outdoor activities, entertainment, good food, exhibitors, and contests with desirable prizes.​

The lives and health of 7.5 million children are now in danger due to the conflict. Up until the 8th of April, the Akelius Foundation will double every donation made to UNICEF Sweden's collection for the children of Ukraine to:​
- Supply food, medicine, and hygiene products for children and families​
- Provide psychosocial support for traumatized children​
- Create safe places for gathering children and families in need of recuperating​
- Follow the stream of refugees along their journey with a tanker filled with water​
- Allocate mobile health squads to provide medical care​

Meet Berkeh Nasri, CEO & Founder of Leira Therapeutics. 👋 Leira recently pitched at SEB Innovation Forum and is making ADHD treatment available for anyone, anywhere. 🚀​

1️⃣ Hi Berkeh! Tell us a bit about your company Leira.​
As a specialist clinic within the field of adhd, Leira’s mission is to develop and offer highly specialized psychological treatment for individuals with adhd. Adhd is a common and chronic neurobiological disorder affecting around 9% of the children and 4% of the adults in Sweden, but access to treatment is very scarce, making this diagnosis an important but highly under-recognized area of mental health.​
​
A majority of individuals with adhd need complementary treatment to medication such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), but access to CBT is very limited due to a variety of reasons. Leira’s vision is to make evidence-based psychological treatment (CBT) available and accessible for individuals with adhd across ages worldwide through digital interventions.​
​
2️⃣ With your clinical experience and research in the field, what developments do you see within the space of ADHD diagnosing and treatment?​
It’s important to train mental and student health care professionals to discover and assess signs of adhd in children and youths to offer support and treatment interventions at an early stage. A stepped-care treatment model would be beneficial, with psychoeducational interventions as the first step, digital tools and treatment as the next step and if needed, also face-to-face treatments as an addition for individuals who need more. Parent training and education is very important for children and youths with adhd and an area with limited research which needs to be addressed.​
​
3️⃣ How are technology and digital tools enabling better and more customized ADHD treatment?​
We need more research in this area, but findings of previous studies on internet-based self-help CBT treatments (iCBT) show promising effects on everyday functioning for adults with adhd. Digital treatment enables access to CBT and the format has several advantages compared to face-to face CBT. Clients have access to their treatment 24/7, the therapist is highly available through chat/secure emails, the treatment material is presented through audio, text, video, and pictures making it possible for the client to repeat the content whenever needed. Leira’s goal is to implement and offer the world’s first iCBT for adults with adhd during 2022 through primary health care.
