Med start den 1 november arrangerar NAVET, KTH:s centrum för forskning inom Konst, Teknik och Design, ett antal workshops på Tekniska museet. Först ut är "Designing the Sound of the Future” där besökarna får vara med och skapa ljuden till framtidens robotar.

– Vi vill utforska om det är möjligt att designa framtidens ljud på arbetsplatser eller andra liknande miljöer. Hur ska en robot låta när den kommunicerar med människor? Hur ska den förmedla olika känslor eller tillstånd?
Det tar vi reda på genom att utforska, designa och testa nya icke-verbala ljud som är funktionella, inkluderande och karakteristiska, säger Roberto Bresin, professor i medieteknik vid KTH.
