What an incredible week at Meta Connect! Here's a quick recap of our highlights:

𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀: The first-ever multi-sport game in mixed reality, coming soon to Meta Quest 3 & Meta Quest 3S.

𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿: Attendees had the chance to be the first to experience Home Sports and dive into the arena mode for Spatial Ops.

𝗗𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗠𝗥 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲: Clarisse and Linnéa hosted a session called "Building a Mixed Reality Game" where they shared details about how we made Home Sports.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮'𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻: We're excited about the future of XR and for the arrival of the Quest 3S!

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗫𝗥 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: It was great catching up with old friends and making new ones.

Enjoy an action-packed collection of five sports (pickleball, hockey, bowling, mini golf & badminton) in this highly social experience, perfect for players of all ages, with both local and online multiplayer fun.

Our artists have the tough job of striking the right balance between realistic and stylized elements for Spatial Ops. If it's too realistic it might not blend well with the stylized digital elements. If it's too stylized it might break immersion.
