🕋 *The Return Trip to Him*

"A night before, preparing for this Umrah trip felt different.

Apart from the regular preparations of travel essentials, something felt deeply amiss.

It felt like we were preparing to return to Allah literally [death]. It sank in, albeit at the 11th hour.
What have we truly prepared when we actually return back to Him? It could be tomorrow. It could be today.
What is worthy of being presented to Him when we meet Him?
Are we actually ready?
Aren’t we supposed to be always ready?"

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. *And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter.* And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. *And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.”* (Jami` at-Tirmidhi)

٣٧٠- عَنْ ابَيْ سَعِيْدٍ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: اَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ كَسَا مُسْلِمًا ثَوْبًا عَلَي عُرْيٍ، كَسَاهُ اللهُ مِنْ خُضْرِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَاَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ اَطْعَمَ مُسْلِمًا عَلَي جُوْعٍ، اَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ مِنْ ثِمَارِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَاَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ سَقي مُسْلِمًا عَلَي ظَمَإٍ، سَقَاهُ اللهُ مِنَ الرَّحِيْقِ الْمَخْتُوْمِ.

رواه ابو داؤد، باب في فضل سقي الماء:١٦٨٢

370. Abu Sa'id Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he is naked, Allah will clothe him with the green garments of Paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, Allah will feed him from the fruits of Paradise; if any Muslim gives a Muslim a drink when he is thirsty, Allah 'Azza wa Jalil will give him drink from sealed pure wine
