Dear participants of Bedok Reservoir Ultra 2023, we've just emailed the list of participants & respective Bib numbers for your reference when you pick up your bib number tag this Saturday at the event site. Do check your junk/spam folder as it might have landed there 🙂

Dear friends, registration for the Bedok Reservoir Ultramarathon 2023 will close by 7 May 2023 Sunday 11.59pm. Registration after that date may still be possible, subject to availability of t-shirt/medal.

For those who registered in 2020, an email has been sent to you on 20 March 2023 to request for your preferred option (join this edition or rollover to 2024, etc). Thank you to all who have submitted the form & we have taken note of your preferred option.
For those who have not submitted the form, please assist to fill up the form in the email by 7 May 2023 so we can follow up accordingly. Thank you for your help :)

Dear friends, it's been a long time (around 4 years ago) since our last fun race around Bedok Reservoir & we hope you've been doing well.
We wish to update that we're in the process of getting approval to organise the 8th edition of the Bedok Reservoir Ultra on 24 June 2023 Saturday. If all goes well & we get the approval, we'll make an announcement here as well as at Running Guild (SG) page & on our website at https://www.runguild.com/

All registrations from 2020 will be rolled over to this edition & we'll also open registration for new registrations.

Let's cross our fingers & hope it happens.

**Announcement: Bedok Reservoir Ultra is tentatively postponed till further notice**
Dear all, the 8th edition of the Bedok Reservoir Ultramarathon, originally scheduled to be held on 4 April 2020, will have to be postponed to another time due to the COVID-19 situation.

Although we have previously planned to have it on 10 April 2021, at this moment, we will postpone the event till the situation becomes better. We seek your understanding & seek your continued support.

All 2020 registrations will be automatically rolled over to the next edition, so there is no need to take any action on your part.

We will make an announcement when the new date is confirmed & we will also re-open registrations.

**Announcement: Bedok Reservoir Ultra on 4 April 2020 will be postponed to 24 Oct 2020**

Dear all, the 8th edition of the Bedok Reservoir Ultramarathon, originally scheduled to be held on 4 April 2020, will have to be postponed to 24 Oct 2020 due to the COVID-19 situation.

We sincerely apologise for postponing this event which all of you have been training for & looking forward to.
We too were looking forward to having all of you experience a great time. Unfortunately we have just been advised to postpone this event & we have managed to liaise with the venue owner to allow us to have the event on 24 Oct 2020.

At the moment, we're working out what can be done & once we've sorted that out, we will send an email to you soon on the options available to you.
We seek your understanding in this difficult time & do bear with us (and other event organisers) as we try our best to overcome the challenges presented by the ever-evolving situation which we hope will turn for the better soon.

Meanwhile, do stay safe, practice good hygiene & keep up your healthy activities.

The photo shows the medal which has just been delivered today afternoon & we hope to award this large medal to you on 24 Oct 2020.

Dear friends, please note the location of the Event Site, which is different from past editions. The Event Site is beside the Fitness stations, just a short walk from Car Park A. The toilets are just a short distance away.

Dear friends of Bedok Reservoir Ultra, the multi-ministry taskforce made this announcement on 13 March 2020: "All ticketed cultural, sports and entertainment events with more than 250 participants are to be deferred or cancelled in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The mandatory cancellation or postponement of ticketed events with 250 participants or more does not apply for events that have already been committed to — for example, if tickets have been sold. But before such ticketed events can proceed, the organisers “must demonstrate that satisfactory precautionary measures have been put in place”

Based MOH's advisory on 20 March 2020: "For events and gatherings with fewer than 250 participants, organisers and event venue operators are required to implement the necessary precautionary measures to ensure separation of at least a metre between participants."

For the Bedok Reservoir Ultra on 4 April 2020, we have at present, about 112 participants only.

Based on MOH's advisory, we will adopt the following precautions on race day (which will be tweaked if necessary, based on the task force's & MOH's recommendations), some of which we also implemented at the Garang Warrior Ultra event 1 month ago:
1. Please DO NOT COME to the event on 4 April 2020 if:
(a) You're unwell, especially if you have symptoms such as fever, cough or breathlessness/shortness of breath. Please seek medical attention immediately.

(b) If you have been issued with a Stay-Home Notice(SHN) or placed on Leave Of Absence(LOA).

2. Temperature will be taken & those who have fever and/or show respiratory symptoms such as cough/breathlessness will be asked to seek medical assistance from the clinic/hospital & will not be allowed to take part in the event.

3. Safe Distancing:
- Avoid physical contact with others. For example, do not shake hands with others.
- Stay at least 1 metre away from others.
- Chairs will be placed 1 metre apart.
- Stand at least 1 metre apart at the Start line whilst waiting for the event to be flagged off.

4. Practice proper hygiene at all times.
- Avoid touching the face.
- Use your hand to cover your mouth/nose if you cough/sneeze. Then wash/sanitise your hand.
- Hand sanitisers will be available at the event. Use it as frequently as possible to keep your hands clean.
- As part of our usual practice, volunteers will use disposable gloves for food preparation.

5. Volunteers, please bring your own mask along.

6. If you feel unwell at any point during the event, please take the appropriate action immediately to avoid contact with others & make your way to visit a clinic/hospital. Be socially responsible.

7. If the organiser/fellow participant/volunteer observes that anyone(including the organiser) involved in the event is unwell/displays any one of the above-mentioned symptoms, he/she must immediately advise the unwell person to stop being involved in the event, avoid contact with others & make his/her way to visit a clinic/hospital.

8. We will continue to monitor the situation & update you, if necessary, with any changes/modifications to the event.
