[New] Big Brekkie, Croque Madame, Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict, Fried Chicken, Cookies & Cream Waffle with Cheesecake Softserve

Brought my mum to tenderfresh latest modern-day cafe - Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshopat Punggol (5 mins walk from my house, YAY ✌🏻) and I was awed by the gorgeous space (both interior and exterior) and was very impressed with their food 😍, especially their Brunch menu which is only exclusive to the Punggol outlet and available during the weekends!

Here’s what I had:

Pic 1: Croque Madame - First thing first, all their eggs are so nicely done up - super worthy. Bread was soft and moist, and it paired so well with the cheese and chicken ham hidden within it. Best way to eat this: poke the egg yolk, dip the bread and down it. Shiok 👍🏻

Pic 2: Big Brekkie - Again, the egg yolk no joke. Sautéed mushrooms were really yummy (my mum can’t agree more cos she finished most of it). Very value-for-money tbh! Tough fight between this dish and the Croque Madame! Okay, I’ll take two!

Pic 3: Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict - Salmon was good and of course, you have to pair it with the egg, asparagus and muffin. Shiok also!

Pic 4: Fried Chicken - My mum see other people eating she also wants leh! Haha. Tbh, the smell was irresistible! It was crispy, not overly battered and not too oily. Also, it came really hot so darn shiok. Can imagine myself dapao-ing them home for supper!

Pic 5: Cookies & Cream Waffle with Cheesecake Softserve - You can also find the very popular Cat & the Fiddle Cakes over at this outlet. Waffles were crunchy and you can order their Cheesecake softserve. Foresee that it’s gonna be a popular hit among the kids and youth!

Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop is a modern-day cafe that serves a variety of nostalgic Tuckshop food that is familiar and delicious. Designed to suit everyone’s palate and pocket, this is where guest can have informal meetings, hangouts or casual quality time with family.

The botanic theme Tuckshop have been winning the hearts (and tummy) of foodies with its cozy ambience, the delicious food and the good quality coffee at the Woodlands and Jalan Kayu branch and to bring the cafe concept further, the team have partnered with Cat & the Fiddle Cakes to include their recent popular cafe concept in this third Tuckshop!

Apart from the usual crowd favourite like it’s famous fried chicken, steak and chicken chop, the new menu also will also feature Asian fusion pizzas, baked rice, pastas and even a sedap-licious brunch menu for the weekends.

The stand alone Tuckshop will include a drive thru pick up service where guest could order in advance and just drive over to pick the food up, bicycle parking facilities for cyclists while grabbing a quick coffee and even a musollah for our Muslim guest.

We hope to create a space for people to relax or recharge, to share ideas and conversation, and to reconnect without worrying about the price of the meal and really excited to be serving everyone soon!
