Our Story
Our Founder Dato Francis Ng often came across elderly who earned a living by picking cardboards on the streets. Pained by what he saw, he frequently offered money to them but his kind gestures were always rejected. Determined to help them, he came up with the idea of opening up a seafood restaurant so he could provide better jobs opportunities for them. It was as if God could sense his marvelous plan, his chef buddy was also looking for a job at that time!
Our breakthrough came when we served a customer our signature Black Pepper Crab. She was so impressed by the savory flavors and freshness of the ingredients!
Little did we know she was a reporter and even featured us on Lian He Zao Bao. That very night our restaurant was packed with customers till we had to borrow chairs from our friends next to us to cope with the overwhelming number of customers.
There you have it, our humble beginnings as a unknown Seafood Restaurant at Yio Chu Kang Road to a Go-To Restaurant for Seafood at Punggol.
