Chef: No nuts used. We DIY the sauce.
Me: How is it satay sauce without peanut?!
Ops: The satay seasoning will be a dry rub! We didn't want to do the actual sauce. The calories is too high so this is a cleaner variation. Han created the seasoning. Taste is really good. Taste like the satay but without the peanut.
Chef: Honey, galangal ginger, garlic, onions, lemon grass, a bit of chicken seasoning, kurma powder (Cumin, coriander powder, cinnamon powder, star anis powder, cloves, black pepper, turmeric). Han he wanted to try something new that day then it turned out nice!

Food testing day tends to become food coma night. 😂 We have everyone on Team Nutrify eat the bento sets prepped and stored from the week before, to check on the taste and textures... + extra food experiments = 3 weeks' worth of meals (It's so easy to make a party.)
Of course, we all agree that freshly cooked is best, and like all busy peeps, we also forget that we have food in the refrigerator too. (Keep chilled as low as you can without freezing, then microwave 1 min to 3 mins depending on your unit!)

Remembering those who have been hit hard this year, the fears and scares we were inundated with, yet in spite of covid, we grew so much in the little things we do collectively to encourage each other. Tough decisions were made, new pathways were ploughed through - we're still here, and we get another chance to make things better.
