Had a great time learning and sharing about sustainability trends in the Sustainability Marketplace on Energy and Water Efficiency for Hotels organised by Singapore Hotel Association today. It's so important that we prioritise sustainable practices in all industries, and the hotel industry is no exception.
One key takeaway from Nanyang Technological University’s Alex Chong’s sharing is to address the Whole Life Carbon emissions which consists of embodied carbon and operational carbon, and that we have to look out for the Active and Passive strategies for buildings and properties even before we start constructing them.
It is also important to remember that the first step towards is to reach by fully optimising our Total System Efficiency. Let's work together to make a positive impact on the environment!

Although there is a strong link between and , we must not make the mistake and see them as one and the same. Solving the climate crisis won’t solve the biodiversity crisis.
