Ever wondered how to detail like a professional? The SiO2 Detailing Academy is a 2 day professional detailing class that is held in our fully air-conditioned training centre. It is conducted by a certified SONAX Regional Master Trainer and Detailer.

The class covers:
1. Engine Bay Detailing
2. Exterior Paintwork Decontamination
3. Wheels Decontamination
4. Full Interior Detailing
5. Paint Correction with Machine (RUPES LHR15 MK3)
6. Sealants and Waxes
7. Ceramic Coating Installation

The class is fully hands on and each participant will get their own set of tools and chemicals to work on cars guided by our trainers. Each participant will be given an official SONAX Certificate at the end of the class. Lunch and Refreshments are included in the class.

30 Hours of work was put into the Removal of PPF and Adhesive left behind, 8 Hours on Paint Correction and another 3 Hours on the application of SONAX CC EVO.

Just a PSA, our recommendation is to not install a PPF on your full car if it's your daily driver, especially if you park outdoors.

Depending on the quality of film, it may do more harm than good in the long run. Do remember to replace them once they start to peel and discolour, if not you'll end up with all the adhesive caked into your Clear Coat!

The time we worked on Ming Yang's beloved Daihatsu Copen! The Financial Mistake Copen was lucky enough to win the SiO2 Ultimate Detail from our giveaway!

The main difference between our Ultimate Detail and the Signature Details would be our Wheels Off Detail Process. We would raise the car on QuickJacks and Remove the Wheels.

Wheels will then be deeply cleaned again with the SONAX Beast Wheel Cleaner, allowing all the grime and dirt to be easily removed with the wheels off the car. Rims are machine polished and coated with our SONAX Ceramic Coatings of choice, thereafter, baked in our IRR Lamp.

Wheel Wells, Suspensions, Arms are brushed, steam cleaned, and coated. Wheel nuts are also polished before we place the wheels back onto the car, not forgetting to torque them back to spec once they are back on!

Paint would undergo a Multi-Stage Paint Correction or sanding if required, and we will only stop when we are satisfied with the outcome of the paint, before being finished with the flagship SONAX CC EVO Ceramic Coating.

Interior will also undergo interior panel polishing (for wood trims or piano black trims), seats will also be removed if required.

Only using the best products from SONAX, this car went through a thorough decontamination process, using the SONAX Rich Foam Shampoo and SONAX Beast Rim Cleaner.

Paint was clayed down before a Multi-Stage Paint Correction and Application of the SONAX CC EVO Ceramic Coating.
