For this Christmas Fair🎅🏼, our Santa from Japan (our boss!) has specially flown in almost 20 types of new sake, ranging from the crowd pleaser of Yuzu Sake (Normal & Dry versions) from Kochi prefecture to the exclusive Kokuryu Junmai Daiginjo, from Meikyoshi Junmai Daiginjo with 35% rice polishing to Niidashi Senshu Junmai with Japan’s first ever 90% rice polishing! 🌾

Our Leucy Corn is back!! 😎

JapanHolic is the sole overseas distributor of Hokkaido’s Leucy Corn 🌽 and it has received raving reviews 👍🏼 when we first brought them in last year.

Leucy is a new variety of white corn that has won multiple Gold Awards 🏅 in Japan’s Vegetable Sommelier Summit. Praised by judges to be “juicy like fruit, sweet taste with high sugar content”, it can be eaten fresh, steamed, boiled, or grilled. At over 400g per corn, Leucy Corn is packed with pure sugary goodness and just the right amount of fibre.

Leucy has a 18% sugar level, which makes it sweeter than some melons! JapanHolic's recommendation on how to best enjoy them? Either eat them fresh off the cob for the best impact or boil them for a few minutes to get a more intense sweetness.
