A.B.C.D.E. tips to ace the interview.
A simple, structured and clear cognitive framework to provide you when faced with a cognitive dissonance during an interview. This was shared during recent workshop for PMETs on the topic of interviewing skills. Effective communication is not sufficient. It is the CONTENT that goes into the communication that is ultimately effective.
Tips for those in TRANSITION. It is not permanent but a temporary Pit stop to rest, rejuvenate, recalibrate, review and then RETURN to normalcy.

Understanding the primitive XY axis alone is too myopic. Consider the Emerging Trends that can impact the XY axis & Purpose (MVV) & Business Objectives. When the top surface around us constantly change, the underlying Psychological Safety (Hygiene Factors) do not. A ruler is a ruler. Perhaps this depth might be termed as the Factor Analysis.
What B.I.L.A. jobs are there left in the business world?
1. Build the Business - The capability to develop, grow and expand the current business model.
2. Innovate Solutions - Drive innovation, transformation in digitalisation and technology specifically in product development.
3. Lean the organization - Bring cost saving measures and minimise wastage across people, processes & products.
4. Analytics advisory - Provide data to informed advise & predict market trends, product strategies to interpret numbers towards making better business decisions and foresight.
Helping my audiences to understand what is this Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0). I have developed this acronym D.I.T.T.O. ( sounds like ditto) to assist learning. Much of it blast and talk on D.I.T.T.O. , business leaders need to consider the measurements of each of the D.I.T.T.O. ( see table). On the input, the 'why' has to be clearly articulated if a business is moving towards this trend. On the output, would it be worth the ROI and the investment, time and effort to move into this trend. Perhaps viewing from the end in mind first and working it backwards. Your thoughts?
Like other ecosystems, the Systemic Perspective Approach (SPA) model provides a systemic yet systematic structure to understand disruptive innovation. Each dimension is defined by the context it is in. The symbiotic relationship creates experiential and experimental experiences that could otherwise be cheaper, more accessible, offer convenience and perhaps positivity to the user.
Just ended a Workshop with Managers & Leaders. Most said they have challenges managing unengaged employees who don't provide positive feedback. Yet learners are only keen to learn how to build processes and not build the 3Es as shown. Sad to say, many are merely process centric not person centric. What an irony don't you think....

OIIIO ( The OBJECTIVES - Theme, Product, Service, Impact - What sort of IMPACT both currently and future, Implications - What IMPLICATIONS does it have currently and future, Implementations - What would be your approach and how, Outcomes - What sort of positive outcomes would there be, if I were to buy into your proposition.
Gentle assurance when dealing with Toxic dysfunctional people
Current Business Model - What cannot be measured doesn't exist hence Analytics. Analytics in itself without translating into Innovation is useless. Both with justify the Business Strategy & Proposition.

Finally an advocate who is highlighting the importance of the role of Counselling and Counsellors in Singapore. Much has been asked about this profession and what they do. If counseling is to be legislated and given it’s due recognition, empirical research to demonstrate its efficacy would be key . I would like to hear your thoughts....
