🚪💧Today we bid goodbye to the NEWater Visitor Centre (NVC), as it closes its doors after over 2 amazing decades of hosting more than 1.7 million local and international visitors. With interactive displays, engaging tours and hands-on workshops, the NVC has been a gamechanger in winning hearts for NEWater and unravelling the magic behind its production. Where did our #GoGreenSG learning adventure lead us to this year? Besides touring our water reclamation plants 💧♻ and ABC Waters sites 😎, we showed participants how chokes are removed from our sewers—a sight and smell to remember 👃 In this #YearofPublicHygiene, let’s remember to be mindful of what we flush and wash down our sinks, and play our part in keeping our used water system working smoothly!

The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) returns for the 10th edition from 18-22 June 💧 The biennial event brings over 20,000 experts and stakeholders from the global water industry to share knowledge and best practices to solve urban water and climate challenges. This year, a Coastal and Flood Resilience Cities Roundtable will be held for the first time, to address ways to deal with extreme weather patterns and rising sea levels faced by global cities. Last month, PUB celebrated the achievements of over 40 organisations that made outstanding efforts in water efficiency and conservation at the Singapore Watermark Awards. This March, over 300 partners from schools, corporations and community organisations joined us to celebrate Singapore World Water Day💧From engaging carnivals and roadshows to experiential field trips to edutaining activities, they filled the month with a cascade of activities – in big and small ways – to spread awareness about saving water.
