Charles Spaar is the husband of the nascent Alsatian power couple Amelie & Charles Spaar, who are rising stars in the region with their wineries Vignobles des 2 Lunes and Amelie & Charles Spaar. Both wineries stand for pure reflection of the Alsatian terroir.
Charles will open his treasure chamber for this dinner and will join us with some rare older vintages. We are looking forward to welcome you to a true Alsatian Night at Lerouy.

I love the deeper, darker wines from Pommard, specially when they as good as this one! 20% whole-clusters, spontaneous fermentation, aged 12 month in oak. The result is an intense and juicy wine with tones of cherries, dark fruits and wet forrest. Super long aftertaste and strong, courageous tannins.
