Happy Father's day!

The follower of CHRIST should be the salt of the earth
Pero possible bang mawala ang alat ng asin?
Yes!
Salt means "wisdom", if it loses savour it becomes foolish"
If we claim to be a follower of JESUS yet we don't see it in our lives we are not really a Follower of CHRIST.
We are reminded to maintain purity as a salt para hindi tayo tapakpakan at mawalan ng value ang ating paggiging Kristiyano.

How to become an effective salt on earth?

1)We need to be right quality.
- salt must be salty = dapat makita ang ating totoong pagiging Kristiyano.
- Do not equally yoke to unbelievers
According to Psalm 106:35; tayo ay pinaaalalahanan maging good influencer maghatak sa mga hindi pa nakakilala sa DIYOS hindi tayo ang mahatak sa kanila..
- hold ourselves to the higher standards of morality.
Ipakita natin ang ating pagkaKristiyano na meron tayong KRISTO. Gawin natin ito na makikita ng tao na tayo ay may magandang halimbawa sa lahat ng tao na nakapaligid satin.

2)We need to be the right quantity
-Right amount will lead to good amount
Dapat tama lang wag sobra, pag ang asin nasobrahan ng alat ano nga ba ang mangyayari?
-over fertilization can decrease growth
-consider the Words "more and "less
“He must become greater; I must become less.”
John

3)We need to be at the right place
-Salt is not useful as fertilizer until it touches the soil..
We ought to spread the words of God.
- We should function at the right place
If we cannot function in our workplace or in our family, Church is the right place for us.
Walang matatafpon kung magpapagamit tayo sa Panginoon.
-right place_value_the right place
Feeling we are not valued? then try to think if are in the right place?

What is your worth and value in the kingdom of GOD?
Be the salt of earth it wil preserves you to eternity.

Blessed week ahead!

Joshua fought and won the battle in Jericho because of his commitment and faithfulness to the Lord.
After the victorious battle, Joshua and the Israelites saw God had led them and given them the victory, and they were willing to move forward in service to Him.

How do we win every battle in our life?
Like Joshua, choose to serve the Lord!
But how?

1. Remember God's Faithfulness
Reading the book of Joshua
- God's faithfulness in the escape from Egypt. (Joshua 24:5-7a)
- God's faithfulness in the wilderness (Joshua 24:7b-10)
- God's faithfulness in the land of Canaan. (Joshua 24: 11-13)

2. Renew the Covenant with the Lord
- Serve God exclusively. Surrender your Life through serving him.
-To fear God is to submit to God and follow him.

Accepting God should not just by words but more by works. Serving Him with our time, talents and treasures are valuable tools to ensure victory in every battle we have.

May we choose to serve Him with all our might and heart.

God bless you.

Accepting the Lord in our life doesnt mean our life will be perfect and flawless. As a christian there will be moments when our faith will be shaken with disappointments which would be later result to hurting and disappearance from the Lord's presence.

What are the common sources of disappointments?

1. Dɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ Oᴜʀsᴇʟᴠᴇs
🄵🄰🄲🅃
-Many Christians begins with great joy.
Acts 8:39
-Encouraged by temptations. Luke 8:13
🄰🄲🅃🄸🄾🄽
When we encounter them we can;
*Let us remind them that growth is progressive
*Let us remind them that God is willing to pardon
*Let us remind them that God will provide strength

2. Dɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʙʀᴇᴛʜʀᴇɴ/Oᴛʜᴇʀs
🄵🄰🄲🅃
-Inconsistency in others. Gal. 2:11-14
-Ill treatment by brethren 2 Tim. 1:15; 4: 10,16
ACTION
When you encounter them;
*We can set better examples 1 Tim. 4:12
*We should be quick to forgive and confess our sins.
*We should remind them that even older christian are also growing.

3. Dɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴇᴅ ʙʏ ᴛʜᴇ Wᴏʀʟᴅ
🄵🄰🄲🅃
-Pleasured and responsibilities. Luke 8:14
-Discouragement by 'friends'. 1 Cor. 15: 33-34)
🄰🄲🅃🄸🄾🄽
We can help by:
*Setting an example. (Mat. 6:33)
*We should show 'love of the Father' (1 John 2:15-17)
*Let us develop relationships that are in the Lord, not just social interests.

4. Dɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴇᴅ ʙʏ ʟᴀᴄᴋ ᴏғ Sᴜᴄᴄᴇss
🄵🄰🄲🅃
-Thinking that all problems will go away
- Such is not always true (1 Pet. 1:6-9)
🄰🄲🅃🄸🄾🄽
When we encounter them;
*We can prepare them for possible adversity
As paul did (Acts 14:21-22; 2 Tim. 3:12)
*Reminding them that Satan often strikes hardest when new in the faith. (1 Pet. 5:9)

Hᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴇᴀʟ ᴡɪᴛH ᴅɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛs?
1. Face the reality that the desire of your heart is NOT the desire of our Lord
2. Declare your disappontments to the Lord.
3. Route your disappointments to the Lord.

You are not alone in this journey. Praying for God's intervention in case you are disappointed today.

Blessed Sunday!

Usapang tinapay tayo this Sunday!
What's your favourite bread? Pandesal? Ensaymada? Sweet bread? Or plain bread?
Whatever your preference is, the most delightful bread that we can have is the bread of life.

In Matthew 15:21-28, Jesus showed his power through the faith of the gentile woman who sought healing for her demon-possessed daughter.
The woman was bold and persistent in seeking Jesus' healing. She knew that she didn't deserve it, but Jesus saw her faith and healed her daughter.

But, how do we get qualified with the bread of life?
1. RECOGNIZE Jesus' Presence.(Matthew 15:22)
The woman immediately cried out to Jesus and sought mercy as soon as He arrived. She openly expressed the desire of her heart.

2. REFUSE to Get Offended.
Even though Jesus was unresponsive, she was rejected, denied and insulted. This woman didn't take "No" as an answer. She remained faithful as her words revealed great faith and wisdom.

3. REMAIN persistent in Faith.
The woman doesn't challenge Jesus, rather she acknowledges the truth of what He said. The woman humbled herself in Jesus. Remember that everyone who puts their faith in Jesus Christ becomes children of God. Jesus honors the faith that seeks mercy.

Just like the Canaanite woman, when things aren't always seem right, what does your faith looks like?

"Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there", and I will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 6:20

Let's take time to ponder His words.
Blessed Week ahead!

Do you know that vines is considered a perennial and is present at all seasons of the year. To prepare the best grapevine they need to be pruned.
As Christians, Jesus Christ reminded us that he is the true vine and we are the branches. He prunes away the excess things that will draw energy away from what is needed to bear fruit.

IF Jesus Christ is the true vine
AND we are the branches,
THEN;

1. Jesus Christ is the SOURCE OF LIFE.
He is the source of all nourishment needed to bear fruit. He is also the source of power and spiritual success. This life that has given is expected to bear fruit.

2. We have to REMAIN in HIM.
There are 2 kinds of branches that he mentioned in the John 15.
a. Barren: fruitless, non-bearing branch, they are cut off, and thrown into the fire.
b. Bearing: fruit bearing, they are being pruned to bear more fruit.
If you remain in Him, you will bear much fruit.
But if you do not remain in Him, he will cut it off, thrown into the fire and burned it.

3. ASK ANYTHING and it will be given to you. (John 15:7)
God promised that whatever we ask Him, will be given to us IF we remain in Him.
However, God will not give what we want if it will only destroy our life.
IF you abide, remain in Me.
AND my words remain in you.
THEN ask whatever we wish.

When we depend on Him and trust in Him, our life is fruitful; our work is fruitful; our relationships are fruitful; our ministry is fruitful. Which type of branch are you?
Are you bearing fruit? Or still barren?

May we reflect on these verses and choose to bear fruit everyday.

God Bless you!

Take a moment to reflect, what's in your hand right now? Are you using it for a good purpose?
In Exodus 4:1-17, when the Lord asks Moses "What's in your hands?" He wants to show how powerful and wonderful he is at making great miracles.

Just like Moses, how to experience breakthroughs with our hands?
1. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙙.
When we obey God, amazing things happen. A lot of people from the bible chose to obey God so they were able to witness inconceivable transformations in their lives.
2. 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨.
When God calls, he also equips us. God's words are more powerful than we can ever imagine. He is forever faithful to His word.
3. 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨.
God wants to utilise what's already in us. The talents, resources and wisdom; these are the things that he wants us to freely use for his works. God can turn ordinary things into extraordinary when we surrender them to the Lord's hand.

God is not looking at who you are or what you possess right now.
In fact, He is simply looking for obedient, submitted people, who are willing to entrust Him with everything that they have.

Your hands might be full right now, but are you willing to give it back to the Lord? He is just waiting for you to surrender it to him. He will surely bless and transform you once you do.

How much do you Love HIM?
God asked Peter thrice "Do you Love me?" to remind him what love is and his role of tending the flock of Christ's followers would be.

Therefore, how to love God?
1. By Feeding His Lambs.
- Lambs' can be considered as those newly converted young Christians.
- If we love God it is our responsibility to feed them with the gospel.

2. By Taking Care of His Sheep
- We Christians are like sheep, vulnerable to a lot of danger lurking around, injuries and other works of the enemy.
- Whenever we meet sheep in our life, we have to act like co- shepherds to pray and encourage them whenever they are hurt and face struggles in life.

3. By Feeding His Sheep
- They can be those matured Christians that require nutrients to be fed consistently for their spiritual health.

How would you respond is Jesus ask you "Do you Love me?"

God wants us to love him more than anything else. He reminded us on our responsibility in bringing His lambs and sheep to His kingdom.
Let us continue to love him through following and glorifying Him in all the days of our lives.

Blessed Love Month Everyone!

They said "Life is like a race". Sometimes we run fast and sometimes we are ask to slow down.
The most challenging thing in running a race is staying on track towards the finish line.

But, 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚?
1. 𝙍𝙪𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚
"... 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒓𝒖𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒖𝒔.." 𝑯𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒔 12:1
Jesus is the start and finish line of the race of life and faith. In order to win, we must work, train, persevere and run against opposition and hurdles. It also requires our contant discipline and effort.
So, keep the effort and virtue no matter what and surround yourself with good people.

2. 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧
He is the greatest example of endurance. He himself will remove everything that hinders us to finish the race. He wil also help to build our faith overtime.

3. 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚.
"𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔." 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 3:12-14
If we only stand just to watch others, we will not gain much, and might lose everything.

4. 𝙀𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚
Christ is our Prize!
"...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:2
As we run, He is the perfecter/finisher of our faith.

Upon reflecting on the word of God, let us be assured that He is running with our life's race we just need to fix our eyes on our Heavenly goal.

Zaccheus was a chief tax collector at Jericho in the Bible. In bible times, tax collectors often robbed and cheated people hence, they were hated and despised.

His faith in climbing the sycamore-fig tree allows us to understand God's purpose in our lives.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝?
1. 𝙏𝙤 𝙎𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩.
Who are the lost?
a. Parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:1-7)
b. Parable of the lost coin (Luke 15:8-10)
c. Parable of the lost son (Luke 15:11-32)

2. 𝙏𝙤 𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧.
Luke 5:32
"I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
Matthew 18:11
"For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost."

Zaccheus willingly gave half of his possessions and pay back 4 times the amount to the people he cheated. He repented and allowed Jesus to save him from being lost.
Jesus came to save ALL the lost, regardless of background or previous way of life. Through faith, the lost can be forgiven and made new.

In case you're lost, come to Jesus and he will make you new again.

In the book of Jeremiah, God used the captivity of Israelites and King Nebuchadnezzar to accomplish His will. It's a message of God's sovereignty over the whole situation no matter where they are physically or spiritually.

In our current time, whenever we encounter overwhelming problems we tend to doubt God and His ways. Here's something to ponder on!

Hᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ᴏʙᴛᴀɪɴ Gᴏᴅ's ᴘʟᴀɴ ғᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴜᴛᴜʀᴇ?
1. 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙂𝙉𝙄𝙕𝙀 that He is in control of the situation.
2. 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙉𝘿 to circumstances until God's PURPOSE has been accomplished.
3. 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙀 our relationship with Him and return with repentance and commitment from the heart.

Sᴏ,ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇsᴘᴏɴsɪʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇs ɪɴ ᴏʀᴅᴇʀ ᴛᴏ ᴏʙᴛᴀɪɴ Gᴏᴅ's ᴘʟᴀɴ ғᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇɪʀ ғᴜᴛᴜʀᴇ?
1. Endure the current circumstances, knowing they're brought about by God as a consequence for sin.
2. Return to spiritual faithfulness in their personal obedience and relationship with him.

The only cure for disobedience is obedience. He uses our situation to show His mercy and remind us that He is in Control of our life.

Take heart! The battle is in His hands, hence, 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦.

Many have missed their breakthrough because of their disobedience to God.
They try to do things their own ways and not according to God's plan.

Christmas reminds us of the fulfillment of God's promise to restore our relationship with Him and to build a family with us through the birth of Jesus. He came not as a king full of splendor but an ordinary man so He can identify Himself with us.

But, why was Jesus born in a Manger?
𝟭. 𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹
- Jesus' desire to make our hearts His dwelling.
𝟮. 𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆
- Jesus desire to display His glory from our surrendered hearts.
𝟯. 𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻
- Whosoever opens his hearts for Him, he will come in and have a feast with him.

Christ is simply knocking on your heart.
He knocks and simply awaits for you to open it.
In fact, he never forces His way into your life. He is waiting for you to allow Him to be born again in the manger of your heart.

Are you terrified of what lies ahead in your life?
Here's a good news;
God's light can remove all our fears and replace it with something beautiful.
Did you know that during the birth of Jesus, God chose great people with pleasing characteristics to witness this wonderful event.

So, what are the characteristics that are pleasing to God?

1. 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒅𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔. He chose good shepherds who are diligent, and credible witnesses.
2. 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑸𝑼𝑰𝑪𝑲 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔. He chose those who are alive, alert and enthusiastic to His calling.
3. 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒅. He chose those whose eyes are only focused on him.

May His word be a light to your life and give you peace each day. May you choose to be a reflector of His light in a world full of darkness.
