Thus, you can cook and fry any food, with organic ghee in your day-to-day diet. It can be stored for a longer period of time, say about 3 months with regular usage. If brought in huge quantity you can take smaller quantities in a separate jar and store the rest in refrigerator for about 8-10 months. Just remember that you don’t let any moisture content enter the jar. Store it in a dry and dark place in your kitchen which doesn’t need refrigeration for about 3 months.

Ghee is loaded with Vitamin A, D, E, K.

Ghee is loaded with vitamins which helps in the overall maintenance of a good health. The Vitamin A present in ghee helps in the functioning of lungs, heart and kidney. It also boosts the immune system and is useful for improving normal vision. The heart healthy saturated fats produces Vitamin B12 in the body that doesn’t cause any harm to the heart until consumed in moderation. The Vitamin D in the heart helps to maintain healthy and strong bones; it may also help to overcome ailments like cancer, type 1 diabetes etc. It also contains Vitamin K2 which helps to improve calcium in the body that is important to maintain strong and healthy bones. Vitamin E boosts immune system and also promotes anti-aging.

Ghee is stated to be a satvic food

As cow is considered as holy in the Indian culture, it is said that the milk from cow has all the essence of energy and positivity. And ghee too is an essence of milk. Consume ghee everyday in your diet but see to that you don’t exceed the limits of calories consumed. 1 tablespoon of ghee i.e 15 g of ghee everyday will neither harm you nor make you gain weight drastically. Even infants and babies are fed with ghee from the age of 6 months. Leave back these myths and feel free to add ghee in your diet which will also help you manage your weight.
