Get ready to be swept away by Blumiwave 🌊 - presented by DBS and brought to life by DP Design.
Featuring carefully weaved fabric of nettings and scaffoldings, this stunning installation takes you on a multi-dimensional journey into a scene of crashing waves, inspired by Blue Energy 💙- a sustainable form of energy harnessed from the waves that doesn't disrupt the climate.
P.S. all re-cycled plastics used in the build of Blumiwave will be recycled by local social enterprise Magorium after the i Light festival which will be converted into a sustainable construction material called ‘NEWBitumen’, effectively replacing crude-derived bitumen to pave eco-roads! 😉

This immersive artwork serves as refuge ☂️ from a sense of doom, symbolising the artist's reflections on a gloomy future and impending climate crisis. ⛈️
Comprising weaved sheets made of upcycled plastic bags draped across the space, the artwork exudes a sense of both comfort and unease.

Lightwave – Turning the Tide, presented by Alibaba Cloud SEA
Lightwave: Turning the Tide brings you through three chapters of the changing landscape. At the first chapter of the display, you’ll be greeted with varying moods of the future world, one that is unpredictable with extreme weather events portrayed by restless waves of laser beams and LED light.
At the next chapter, you are transported into the deep ocean, where your interaction will affect the ceiling video projection. The interaction conveys that human interference with nature disrupts the fragility of our marine life.
However, the following artwork ‘Another Forest’ gives a glimpse of hope to our marine diversity, as the artwork seeks to highlight the efforts of environmental activists to restore kelp forests impacted by climate change.
At the last chapter, visitors will come upon an i Light i Pledge, presented by Alibaba Cloud SEA wall. Each new pledge helps to add to a more beautiful and vibrant seascape in the projection. This interaction pledge creates a unique seascape visual generated by Alibaba Cloud’s AI technologies.
