TNC Optics' small lens offering includes precision custom Lenses used for Photonic application. TNC's capability includes the design of multi-optical surface optics and injection molding with high-temperature resin (rated at 210 degrees C). Even higher-temperature optical resins that are solder-reflowable are offered.
The Photonic lens footprint fits a 5x5 Standard QFN cavity package.
One application for the photonic lens is in Li-Fi (Light Wifi). These are networking using light and are suitable for factory automation, and other consumer application.

Fresnel designs are often used for larger lenses used for AR and VR. This allows for the thinner lens, lower weight (and resin), and achieving similar optical performance.

Apple is allegedly on the verge of introducing its much-awaited AR/VR headset known as the "Reality Pro," and there are now claims that the device would cost users up to $3,000 for it. This is because of the significant features that will be available upon launch, but not only that, it would also allow accessing third-party apps present on the iPad for the wearable.

The mixed-reality headset remains unconfirmed despite inching toward the WWDC 2023, which speculators and analysts claim would be the event Apple would finally unveil the device.
