Today, I encountered three exceptionally intelligent little geniuses. Before coming to Singapore, they had already familiarized themselves with our history and culture. I sparked their imagination through questioning👈🏻

They have mastered the recitation of three hundred Tang poems and the Four Books and Five Classics. Their cooperation during photography is outstanding, and they strike fantastic poses. Many thanks to these little teachers for their amazing participation! 🙏🏻

The esteemed owner of Padi, a renowned Malay restaurant, wears multiple hats. Not only is he an accomplished engineer, but he also successfully exports his own developed machines abroad. Simultaneously, his daughter immerses herself in stem cell research at the university. She passionately encourages her father to explore the benefits of stem cells for maintaining good health.

Padi’s culinary influence extends beyond borders—it boasts branches not only in the United States but also in the United Kingdom. This sagacious and benevolent owner recently placed several orders, dispatching them to partners in both countries. His unwavering belief is that a healthy community sustains business longevity.

I find myself deeply touched by his wisdom and compassion. 🌟

URA is one of my final personal projects to be completed. I am ready to welcome the delegation from China for the tour.

I had the privilege of conducting an orientation tour for 100 highly intelligent primary school students from China at NUS UTOWN. It was an incredible experience to introduce these young minds to the world of higher education and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

I was thrilled to see their faces light up as they explored our library, playground, indoor sports hall, and Residence.

The students were particularly excited to see our eco-garden and learn about our university’s efforts to promote sustainability.

Overall, it was a heartwarming experience for both the students and me, and I hope to conduct more such tours in the future.”

We are excited to welcome 100 parents and students from China to NUS UTown, a vibrant and innovative campus where learning and living are integrated.

UTown is the first of its kind in Singapore, where both undergraduate and graduate students can enjoy a residential college experience, access state-of-the-art facilities, and participate in diverse activities.

The Hive, an iconic structure at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, stands as a testament to innovation and vision. Valued at 45 million Singapore dollars, this architectural marvel was brought to life by the esteemed British designer Thomas Heatherwick and reached completion in 2015. With its striking resemblance to a dim sum steamer basket, it has affectionately earned the moniker "dim sum basket building."

Today, as I joined Mdm Wu from China for breakfast at Nanyang Technological University, we found ourselves in a place teeming with intellect and creativity. Here, amidst the vibrant atmosphere, we didn't just savor the culinary delights but also delved into shaping the educational and professional pathways for our children's future.

This special rendezvous sparked deep reflections on education and the boundless opportunities that we aspire to carve out for our children.

When I informed the top Indonesian scholars that they could drink water straight from the tap in the hotel room, they seemed skeptical until we visited the NeWater plant. It turns out that tap water in Indonesia needs to be boiled before consumption, unlike in Singapore where the tap water is ultra clean and safe to drink directly.

NeWater is the product of advanced treatment of reclaimed wastewater by Singapore's Public Utilities Board. It undergoes microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet irradiation to achieve potable quality. Although it can be added to the drinking water supply reservoirs, it is primarily used for non-drinking purposes, especially by industries requiring high-purity water.

Overall, the contrast between the tap water standards in Indonesia and Singapore became evident through the visit to the NeWater plant, where the scholars learned about the rigorous purification process of Singapore's tap water. This experience highlighted the remarkable difference in water quality standards between the two countries and provided valuable insight into Singapore's advanced water treatment technology and infrastructure.

As a child, taking the train to visit my grandmother in Pahang, Malaysia, was the highlight of my youth, filled with joy and anticipation. Today, train travel has transformed into a luxurious rarity, yet I still hold onto a cheerful spirit, eagerly longing to use this mode of transportation to unwind and rekindle the enchantment of the journey.

Stepping into the coffee shop named "1932 Story" is like stepping back in time to 1960s Singapore. Once the staff dormitory of the Bukit Timah railway station, this renovated establishment still exudes an evocative vintage charm, inviting nostalgia and reflection on days gone by.

The Bukit Timah railway station, built in 1903, stands as a testament to the rich history of the Singapore railway line, serving as a vital link between Singapore and Malaysia. Although the railway ceased operations in 2011, the preserved structures now stand as a tribute to heritage and provide an ideal setting for outdoor exploration, inspiring visitors to connect with the past while embracing the beauty of the present.

Good service holds the power to spark connections, open doors, and unleash a ripple effect of positivity, creating enduring relationships and countless opportunities.
