LAKE GARDA RECAP πΈπ¬β΅ // 10 of our sailors went to Lake Garda as part of their training to gain experience sailing in different wind conditions with a bigger fleet. Apart from the racing, the sailors who were between 13 to 15 years of age had to be independent in taking care of their optimist boats, loading and unloading them off the trailer. Overall they learned values such as teamwork, determination and tecnical competencies such as risk management through this trip.

A new year brings with it a fresh start, a blank canvas upon which we can paint our dreams, aspirations, and hopes. Singapore Sailing wishes all our sailors and their families, our supporters, our friends overseas.... a very Happy New Year !!!
Whatever the weather is like, sailors will always be eager to race. What is most encouraging, is to see that their parents share the same enthusiasm. Our respect to the parents of sailors as seen here at Changi Sailing Club as the Silver Fleet sailors launched again after a big downpour earlier.
