Are these little animal figurines? No, they're actually candy! Amezaiku, which translates to 'candy craft', is one of Japan's unique and delicate craftsmanship techniques. The time taken to mold one amezaiku is approximately just 3 minutes, yet the details of the designs are impeccable! First, the candy is softened at a high temperature of about 80 degrees, then the artisan has a limited amount of time to mold the candy into the desired shape before it cools down and hardens. At Amezaiku Amenotori in Osaka Prefecture, you can watch as these candies are crafted into cute animals, flowers, and even some sea critters that live in the aquarium next door! ℹ️Plan your trip to Osaka Prefecture https://www.japan.travel/en/destinations/kansai/osaka/ ℹ️For more information on Amezaiku Amenotori (Japanese) https://amenotori.jimdofree.com/ #JNTOSG #Foodanddrink #VisitJapan #Visitjapansg #Japantrip #Japantravel #Explorejapan #Traveljapan #Cutecandy #Osaka
