My last yam ring. From freezer to airfryer, only need 14 minutes. And during those 14 minutes, cook your favourite fillings. No need to deal with oily floor. Need to stock up soon. ✌️

初七人日，㊗️大家生日快乐！

Many people celebrate this day by tossing yusheng. My mum used to cook 7 types of vegetables “七样菜”, it’s a Teochew practise.

Went to the wet market & saw veggie stalls selling bundles of 7 types of vegetables. Since it’s so convenient, I bought a bundle to try, quick stir fry with garlic & mushroom.

Also bought frozen yam ring from FP Xtra (recommended by fellow home cooks); just air-fry for 14-15 mins turning over halfway. For the filling, stir-fry some chicken with onion, mushroom & bellpeppers. To make it like restaurant-style, I deep fry some dry beehoon to make the “nest”.

I must say this yam ring is quite yummy & convenient, definitely going to cook it from time to time as my family loves this dish 😋
