Little Green Man themed blooming card from Toy Story. A childhood favourite for many. Thankful for this opportunity to make this card despite my busy schedule. I struggled to find time and meet the deadline.

Thanks to my customer who was very patient and understanding! Pssst, the Little Green Man’s head on the cover was hand drawn. 🫣

It has been a really busy month. I am glad I was able to squeeze some time for one of my regular customers. I completely enjoyed but self creating this Smurf themed card. It was fun and yet challenging. Thank you for this opportunity.

This is the first card made after my series of workshops. James and the Giant Peach themed blooming card. Customer ordered this card to gift a childhood friend who was going abroad. Thank you for choosing Card Atelier’s handmade cards as the farewell gift filled with heartfelt messages.

I am not a morning person! 😴 But with the recent card making workshops we have been waking up before sunrise and make our way to the institution. I usually don’t look forward to the long journey. I don’t look forward to the setting up of the equipments. I don’t look forward to what’s going to happen in each session as every student learn at their own pace.

But from the moment the students walk into the classroom till the end of the class, I completely enjoy teaching the students in ways they can learn and apply the techniques. In ways they can learn to create greeting cards without the need of having special equipment.

Watching them apply mathematics to measure, to be precise, to be patient and careful gives me great satisfaction. Card making is not just a skill, but an attitude. Certain attitude will bring out certain type of design and quality.

The students soon learn the techniques and the attitude as well. Each of their cards show progress in their dedication, focus and attitude. I always leave the classroom smiling and feeling good. And I always start the journey with a frown! 😂
