What is Photobiomodulation Therapy?
Photobiomodulation (PBM), Red Light Therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), is the application of red & near-infrared light to help heal injuries by reducing inflammation, reducing pain, relaxes muscles/joints, and activate proper mitochondrial respiration. The NovoTHOR Light Therapy Pod uses PBM Therapy (Photobiomodulation) where infra-red rays permeate and stimulate right down to the body’s mitochondria to reduce oxidative stress and increase Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP is used to store and transport chemical energy within our cells which contribute to how well the tissue/muscle/body can work/perform.
